Bab 294: You Dare Provoke Me?

Right as the imp's claws were about to reach the Wanluo disciple's neck, the imp's expression changed. An invisible force drew up from behind the imp and snatched its neck before dragging it up into the air. When the Wanluo disciple felt only a gust of wind against his back without any sign of being attacked, he turned and was overjoyed at what he saw before he made his way over to the side of the horse carriage.

By now, Fang Xing had raised his head and was looking at the imp in confusion. "Why did you make a face at me?"

As though it couldn't properly speak, the imp let out strange squeaking noises while kicking out its limbs to unsuccessfully escape.

"I don't understand what you're saying!" Fang Xing pointed and the invisible force began to tighten. A loud crack resounded in the air as the imp's neck was snapped before it was tossed to the ground.

In that brief moment, the chaos surrounding the basin seemed to fall quiet.
