Bab 46: Making Insinuations

Thankfully, Fatty Tang was lacking in many aspects but he had a plump body, a big heart, and nerves of steel and the most important of all, a positive outlook on life. This was even after suffering countless sessions of scoldings and beatings and even when he was a subject of gossip which was enough to cause an average man to commit suicide in shame.

For him, he only needed to take a nap and he would be able to dismiss everything that had happened and consider them history.

If this was any other person, there would already have been a rope around his neck and he would have undergone the cycle of samsara countless times.

Although, this so-called optimistic attitude to life, a big heart or having nerves of steel was but a better way of saying it. A harsher way of looking at it, was him being a thick-skinned, shameless person.
