After the old village chief left.

Natsume's Serperior has the Ability Contrary.
This is a very peculiar ability.
Some moves of Pokémon will enhance or weaken a Pokémon's own abilities when used due to special effects.
The Contrary ability causes the Pokémon that has it to reverse its abilities when affected by such effects.
Simply put, abilities that would normally increase will decrease, and abilities that would normally decrease will increase.
Leaf Storm, with its powerful force, will temporarily lower the user's Special Attack after being used.
However, with Serperior possessing Contrary, continuously using Leaf Storm will cause its Special Attack to rise higher and higher!
