It was almost the arrival of Julia; she was dressed exceptionally well and brought Rupert along.
"Hello, my clients," Julia said to Rose and Sarah. John and Sam entered at that moment, saying, "Yes, dear, thinking that you can actually make them your apprentices?"
"Julia, I never expected this from you," John continued. "Your dress looks good, but you make it look pathetic."
Sam turned to Rupert. "Your name is canceled from our team."
"What? You can't do that. You have no rights!" Rupert protested.
"Actually, I have every right," Sam replied calmly. "I've won the championship continuously. Doesn't that make sense?"
"I don't even want to see your face," Rupert snapped.
"Then maybe you should change schools so you don't have to," John said, smiling.
Julia interrupted, "Why don't we all settle down and talk this over?" Sarah agreed, "Yeah, of course. You made Rupert do this. I think you two should settle this."
"What nonsense are you talking? I will never marry a poor guy like him, even if it costs me my life," Julia declared.
"Well, well, Julia, aren't you aware that Rupert is hearing every single word you're saying?" John said.
Julia froze, sweating. "Rupert, stop it! You're just not worth it."
Rupert, hearing enough, ran as fast as he could. He realized he had been fooled by Julia and lost his friends. Maybe next time, he wouldn't make the same mistake. He learned a valuable lesson: never trust a rich woman who never speaks of love but only business.
"Well, that ended quite well," John remarked, and they all had dinner. Although John knew Sarah was there too, he remained calm.
"So, you two didn't tell me you were a couple?" John teased.
Rose smiled. "You found out."
"Yep, so fast, like air passing by," John joked, and everyone laughed.
"Okay, let's dig in," Rose said.
"So, you guys are doing online business together? Sounds awesome," Sarah commented.
"Yeah," Rose replied.
"So, wanna join?" Sarah asked, blinking at John.
"Sure, Sarah. I'll be your acquaintance," John said, smiling.
Sarah laughed, and John couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked when she smiled. He thought to himself, I should probably move on and be with Sarah; that's the right choice.
John was confused but made up his mind about moving on with Sarah. However, little did he know, he still loved Rose so much that, in the end, it was difficult for him to let go.
John Thinking of Moving On
It was already past 10 p.m. when John sat down to write an apology letter to Sarah. He knew she wouldn't accept it easily, so he decided to buy her a small, cute teddy bear, a Dairy Milk chocolate, and a cute dress with some cosmetics.
He jumped onto his bed and said to himself, "I think she'll accept it. If not, I'll try harder."
"Oh, I almost forgot! Maybe I can ask Rose—she would know all the things Sarah likes, since they've gotten close recently."
John sighed, thinking it was better to fall asleep soon. He needed to buy the gifts, get a gift bag, and wrap them up.
In his mind, he whispered, Sarah, I will make you mine... Yaya yay...
Suddenly, he shouted, "Mom, aren't you asleep?"
His mother called from the other room, "I think that boy is like a little kid."
His father replied, "You bet he is. Now, let's sleep."
John, feeling embarrassed, said, "Oops, sorry, Mom. I'll sleep now."
