After taking a shower and changing into a new set of clothes, Dave drove straight to Lilian's place.

He wanted to check on his mother and also hoped to get in touch with Laurent through Lilian. He needed to make it clear to her—she should not even think about gaining custody of their daughter!

At Lilian's place, Tiffany was doing fine, as usual—calm and gentle, showing no signs of sadness.

After finishing breakfast, which his mother had made for him, Dave solemnly asked her:

"Are you really set on the divorce?"

He had planned to visit his mother last night, but Clark had an issue, and he ended up going to the hospital with her.
