Dominic was surprised to see Rosalie at the gala event, she walked up to him with a smile as she held up her glass of wine for a clink.

"It's fine." She waved it off when Dominic pretended as though she was invisible.

"How did you get here? Thought this event was only for CEOs?" He asked her.

"Well… I got invited by my dad's friend and seems you've forgotten that I have a share in my dad's company too." She replied him, sipping her wine gently.

She looked around just like she had lost something and asked, "Where's your ….wife? You didn't bring her along?"

Dominic sighed. "If you can see clearly then you should know she's not here." He gave her a blunt reply.

"Maybe you were ashamed to bring her along." Rosalie mumbled.

"I heard you!"
