Bab 11: Battle in the Shadows

In the darkness of the night, the sky was filled with thick clouds that blocked the starlight. Arya and Laksmi walked slowly down the corridor that felt increasingly narrow, its walls seeming to move, squeezing every remaining ounce of courage from their hearts. The distant rumble echoed, creating an unspoken rhythm of fear.

Their steps halted in front of the large door made of black stone, adorned with carvings of ancient symbols. The carvings seemed alive, as if watching them, judging whether they were worthy to step further.

"Are you sure we have to do this?" asked Laksmi with a trembling voice."Are you sure we have to do this?" asked Laksmi with a trembling voice. She could feel an unusual energy emanating from the door, as if something was waiting behind it.

Arya nodded slowly, trying to calm himself. "This is no longer about courage, Laksmi." We have come too far to turn back. Whatever is behind this door, we have to face it."

Carefully, Arya pushed the door. The creaking sound pierced their ears, making their hair stand on end. Behind the door, a large room opens up. The dim light from ancient torches illuminated the walls covered with reliefs of gods and giants battling in an eternal war.

However, it was not the reliefs that caught their attention. In the middle of the room, a man in a long black robe stood. His eyes were glowing red, filled with unimaginable hatred and vengeance. In his hand, he clutched a wooden staff that shimmered as if it had just emerged from fire.

"Finally, the long-awaited drop has arrived," said the man, his voice low yet sharp, like a dagger slicing through the silence. "You really dare to go this far." But your bravery will be your last folly."

Arya stepped forward, his body tense. ""Who are you, and what do you want from us?"

The man chuckled softly, his voice echoing like waves of darkness sweeping through the room. "I am the guardian of the boundary between life and destruction." And you, the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, are a threat that must be stopped before everything ends."

Lakshmi approached Arya's side, gathering her strength. "We are not looking for trouble." "We just want to understand the truth."

"The truth?" The man sneered, revealing a row of sharp teeth like a beast. "The truth is an illusion created to weaken. What is real is power." And it is strength that will determine who has the right to rule this world."

Without warning, the man raised his staff. A black light shot from its tip, attacking Arya and Laksmi. They jumped to the side, avoiding the attack that shattered the floor where they stood.

"We have to fight it!" shouted Arya, drawing his sword which now emitted a soft blue light.

Laksmi nodded, her hand touching the bracelet on her left wrist. The bracelet transformed into a golden bow, and she deftly drew an arrow made of light. Together, they faced the man, ready to fight against any darkness he would unleash.

The fierce battle began. Every attack from the man brought destruction, but Arya and Laksmi were undaunted. They began to understand the strength within themselves, a strength that had previously felt foreign now becoming their weapon.

The man smiled faintly even though his attacks were continuously thwarted. "You are indeed strong, but remember this: the more you resist, the more secrets will haunt you." This world will never be the same again."

Arya and Laksmi knew that this battle was not just about winning or losing. It was a test of their hearts, strength, and faith. And only by staying united could they uncover the greater truth hidden behind the shadows.

This battle brought Arya and Laksmi to the limits of their abilities, confronting them with a seemingly invincible dark force. With every slash of Arya's sword and the swift arrows of Laksmi, they were not only fighting a physical opponent but also the fear and doubt within themselves.

The man in the black cloak, with his deadly attacks, seemed to be enjoying this game. Every time Arya or Laksmi showed signs of fatigue, he increased the pressure, testing their courage.

However, amidst all this darkness, one thing continues to shine their determination. They realized that victory does not always mean defeating the opponent, but enduring in the face of what seems impossible. Although the man's attacks continued to rain down on them, Arya and Laksmi stood firm, supporting each other, and fighting for a greater cause.

This battle is a turning point. This is the moment when they begin to fully understand the responsibility that comes with the power that has been given to them. The question that lingered in their minds is now answered: they cannot turn back. The darkness must be faced, whatever the risk.

However, what awaits them after this battle? Is this just the beginning of something much bigger? Or are they just pawns in a larger game, played by forces they don't even understand?

They can only move forward, hoping that they have enough strength to overcome whatever lies ahead.

However, just when Arya and Laksmi thought they had managed to adapt to the attack pattern of the man in the black cloak, the floor beneath them suddenly shook violently. The reliefs on the walls began to glow with a blood-red light, emanating an energy that made the air feel increasingly heavy.

The man laughed with a tone much colder than before. "You think this is just an ordinary battle?" You forget, I am part of this place. "This entire room is my weapon."

Suddenly, the floor began to split, revealing a deep chasm that divided the room in two. Arya jumped to the right side while Laksmi was thrown to the left side. They were separated by a chasm that emitted thick fog. From the gap, an eerie scream could be heard, as if it came from cursed souls."Laksmi!" Arya shouted, trying to see through the thick fog. "Are you okay?"

Laksmi, who was sitting on the other side, nodded even though her body was trembling. "I'm here!" But we have to find a way out of this situation!

The man in the black cloak hovered over the chasm, like a creature unaffected by gravity. "You are separated now." That means your strength has diminished. Look, how easily you are destroyed without each other."

Arya gripped his sword tightly. "Don't think you've won." I don't need a reason to stand firm!

He ran towards the man, jumping from one piece of floor to another, trying to get closer. On the other side, Laksmi drew her bow, trying to find an opening to attack. Both of them tried to devise a strategy despite being separated by an ever-widening chasm.

However, as Arya was about to reach the man in the black cloak, an invisible force pushed him back, knocking him to the floor. He heard the man's voice laughing, full of mockery.

"You are too hasty, young man." Even the strength of an incarnation of Lord Vishnu has its limits. If you want to save your friend, show something more than just courage.

Meanwhile, Laksmi began to feel her gold bracelet vibrating. A soft light began to emanate from it, and suddenly, a voice appeared in her mind. It was a soft voice, full of authority, yet unfamiliar.

"Laksmi," the voice said, "your strength is not just a weapon, but also a heart that believes in your comrades." Your bond is stronger than this darkness. Use it."

Laksmi's eyes widened. She took a deep breath, then closed her eyes. He felt a different kind of strength, like a flow of energy connecting him to Arya. When he opened his eyes again, he drew the bow with renewed confidence.

"Arya!" Lakshmi called out. "Trust me!"

Arya heard the voice and nodded without hesitation, even though he didn't know what would happen. He stood tall, raised his sword above, and at that moment, Laksmi released a glowing arrow that flew across the chasm. The arrow pierced the energy barrier and struck the man in the black cloak, causing him to stagger back a few steps.

"How could this happen?" The man glared at them with eyes full of rage. "You shouldn't be able to resist my energy!"

Arya and Laksmi looked at each other, feeling that although a chasm separated them physically, their strength became one. With greater confidence than ever before, they prepared to face the next attack.
