Shikaku arrived early at the Hokage's office.
He waited for Tsunade.
As for the proposal from yesterday, he wasn't sure if Tsunade had fully understood it.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Currently, the village of Flame Hidden, established by Danzo, was entangled with the Daimyo's ninja forces.
The reason was simple it was naturally because Danzo wanted to gather more strength.
At the same time, due to the large number of ninjas Danzo had assembled, a certain degree of chaos had begun to arise.
Although Danzo had experienced several Ninja World Wars, he still lacked the experience to manage such a large ninja force.
At the same time, his prestige was not on par with Tsunade's, so it was natural for chaos to arise within the Konoha ninja forces under his command.
If action were taken now, it would only add to the chaos surrounding Danzo.
If they waited until Danzo had organized these Konoha ninjas properly, the pressure on Konoha would only increase.
The anxious Shikaku paced back and forth in the office.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps in the hallway and exhaled softly.
To be honest, he wasn't sure if Tsunade could make the right decision.
The door to the office swung open.
Tsunade walked in, and upon seeing her, Shikaku felt a significant change.
A very significant change.
Tsunade's eyes, complexion, demeanor, and overall presence had undergone a dramatic transformation.
Today, Tsunade seemed more like the spirited "Princess Tsunade" of the Legendary Sannin days.
Without acknowledging Shikaku, Tsunade walked directly to the Hokage's desk and sat down.
Looking at Shikaku, she said, "I've made my decision. As per your suggestion"
"We will immediately launch a full-scale attack on Danzo and these anti-Konoha ninjas!"
One sentence left Shikaku stunned.
However, what surprised Shikaku was not that Tsunade made the right decision.
It was the aura of authority and dominance that Tsunade exuded as she spoke.
This was the stance of a Hokage.
As the ruler of the strongest ninja village in the world, a Hokage was someone whose every move could shake the entire ninja world.
"Tsunade-sama!"
"I... I'll make the arrangements right away!"
Shikaku, visibly excited, could barely contain himself.
But the next second, Tsunade stopped him.
"Wait, Shikaku."
Shikaku turned around. "Tsunade-sama, is there something else?"
"Before we make our move against Danzo, we must first address the issues on our rear flank!"
The rear flank?
Shikaku agreed with this sentiment, as concentrating all their energy on Danzo at the front would require neutralizing threats from the rear.
But ultimately, it was just a matter of dealing with small ninja groups from minor nations. A small contingent of ninjas left behind would be enough to hold them off.
By his calculations, resolving the Danzo issue would take about two weeks.
The remaining ninja force would only need to stall these small nations' ninjas for two weeks.
This was a plan he had already devised.
"Tsunade-sama, are you suggesting we send elite forces to eliminate these ninjas?"
If that were the case, it would disrupt the rhythm of the frontline battle. What was originally a significant advantage would be reduced to a slight edge.
The battle situation might become more unpredictable.
Shikaku was inclined to stall the rear-flank ninjas and focus on Danzo. Once Danzo was dealt with, these other forces would no longer pose a threat.
"Sending elites is correct, but... I have a better idea!" Tsunade said with a smile.
Shikaku was surprised. He believed he had already considered every possibility.
If there was a better idea, he should have thought of it by now he was confident in his strategic capabilities.
"Tsunade-sama, what new idea do you have?"
Tsunade smiled.
"Konoha is in such a difficult situation now; it's time for the sheltered flowers to experience some real challenges!"
Being a smart man, Shikaku immediately understood Tsunade's intent.
She was planning to send the younger generation to deal with these small nations' ninja forces?
But if there were casualties, those young ninjas would...
"Tsunade-sama, they are only Genin, and many of them have never been in a war..."
"Shikaku, how old were you when you participated in your first Ninja World War?"
"Uh..."
Shikaku hesitated before realizing Tsunade's point.
He had been overly concerned about potential mishaps and had underestimated the younger generation of Konoha ninjas.
This wasn't about the age at which one first joined a war. Back then, he had been just a young Genin as well.
No one had high expectations for him, yet he had flawlessly accomplished what was considered an impossible mission during his first wartime task.
"I understand!" Shikaku smiled. "Even my kid has been saying he wants to join the fight!"
"They are all Konoha ninjas, regardless of age!"
"Exactly! Thank you, Tsunade-sama, for helping me realize this!"
Tsunade smiled.
"I didn't stop you to talk about this matter but rather another issue!"
As she spoke, Tsunade raised her hand and snapped her fingers lightly.
The next moment!
Swish!
A figure wearing Anbu attire and a plain white mask appeared in the Hokage's office.
Shikaku was stunned.
'Such incredible speed with the Body Flicker Technique...'
He looked at the slender figure.
'This is... a kid?'
'At this age, mastering such an extraordinary Body Flicker Technique?'
He suddenly understood why Tsunade had faith in the younger generation of ninjas.
"This boy is a member of the Anbu, codenamed 'Senju.'"
Senju?
Shikaku was even more surprised. The codename "Senju" was not something assigned lightly.
"He's a child that Shizune and I discovered outside Konoha."
"You can trust him completely. I have absolute faith in him."
There was no need for Tsunade to explain further.
The codename "Senju" implied that this boy was very likely a direct descendant of the Senju Clan.
The Senju Clan had disbanded during the First Hokage's time, integrating into Konoha.
However, some members of the Senju Clan had left Konoha.
This boy's codename "Senju" likely signified that he had inherited the power of the Senju Clan and a very strong form of it.
Discovered outside Konoha by Tsunade, who also carried Senju blood, it was easy to connect the dots.
"Tsunade-sama, are you planning to have 'Senju' participate in the operation against the small nations' ninja forces?"
"Yes, he will temporarily join Team Three, replacing Neji's position!"
The Hyuga Clan had opted out of this battle, so Neji had not reported to Team Three.
Interestingly, though, Hyuga Hinata continued to carry out missions under Kurenai's leadership.
Almost all the Hyuga Clan's ninjas had withdrawn from this war, but as the main branch's heiress, Hinata remained active.
Hyuga Hiashi was clearly preparing for both outcomes.
