Sasuke initially thought that Orochimaru had already implanted the cursed seal on him!
If that were the case, Orochimaru wouldn't have appeared in the Forest of Death.
But now it seems Orochimaru has come after all.

One team was from the Grass Ninja Village, and the other was from the Rain Ninja Village.

Sasuke stood ahead, turning back to look at the two who weren't planning to proceed.
"What are you doing?"
Hearing this, Naruto and Sakura signaled Sasuke not to speak, pointing out that there were people ahead.

"Are you asking why we're not proceeding with the exam?"
Sakura and Naruto also looked a bit helpless.

Naruto was stunned. Sasuke was telling him to take on six people alone? What kind of joke is this.
Could he possibly fight six people by himself!
"I told you to go, and you'll know when you go!"
Saying that, without giving Naruto a chance to respond, Sasuke grabbed Naruto by the shoulder and threw him directly down from the tree.
The six ninjas from the Grass and Rain villages who were in the midst of fierce battle were startled by the sudden appearance of Naruto.
