The Frontline Battle

The battlefield was chaos.

The clash of swords, the twang of bowstrings, and the heavy thud of bodies hitting the ground filled the air as the main army engaged the enemy front lines.

Two massive forces met in a collision of steel and fury, a maelstrom that turned the earth into a blood-soaked mire.

From his horse, the King watched with narrowed eyes as his infantry surged forward under a hail of enemy arrows.

Banners flew high, whipping wildly in the wind as commands were shouted over the cacophony.

The front ranks of both armies locked together, shields smashing into shields, swords thrusting and hacking through gaps in armor.

The enemy had numbers, their lines stretching far beyond sight.

But the King's forces held firm, bolstered by discipline and experience.

Units of heavy infantry pushed forward step by step, grinding against the enemy like a slow-moving machine.
