Bab 7: 7 Genesis - The Realm of New Beginnings
Veer is now very angry at his childish act and the manager, and his colleagues threaten him and throw him out. This incident had shaken Veer's existence. Now he has understood that there is only one way to earn money and that is to go to Genesis if he wants that no one can evict him and his family from their own house. Maybe like its name, that alien planet will give a new beginning to his life.
Next Day
Veer leaves the house on the pretext of going to school, but he was not going to school. He reaches there and goes straight to Dr. Khurana's office. Dr. Khurana was not in his lab. Veer calls Dr. Khurana but there is no reply, and Veer gets restless because he is now in a hurry to go to Genesis planet and earn money. In his childishness and haste, he did not wait for Khurana and that is why he takes the decision that he will try himself. Thinking all this, Veer enters the red colored telephone booth placed in front of him and sees that there was only one big red button in that booth. Veer looks around and presses that button. As soon as the button is pressed, it seems as if a cloud of light comes inside the booth and different kinds of colors start falling on Veer's body from all sides. Slowly, the booth starts filling with smoke and Veer gets panicked seeing the smoke rising from his feet to his shoulders and starts looking for the button to press it again when suddenly the booth shakes violently, and Veer is completely engulfed in smoke. Veer, struggling, finally finds that button and presses it. With this, the booth stops shaking and the door opens with a click. Veer, without thinking twice, runs outside and coughed heavily as if to cleans his lungs thoroughly. While doing this, he notices that he is not in Dr. Khurana's lab anymore. He looks around. There is a white room with only one door. Veer gets scared and he opens the door from the roof and goes outside.
As soon as he goes outside, Veer's world changes completely. His pupils dilate and his heart starts beating faster. He looks around and feels as if he has reached heaven. Big mountains are floating between the sky and the earth. He had never seen so many colors on the leaves of the trees in his entire life. The grass growing on the ground was shining as if it had LED bulbs. He had never felt the cleanliness and fragrance in the air in his entire life.
He is looking around in a trance when a roar takes his attention back. When he turns back and looks, it seems as if his heart has stopped beating for a moment, suddenly the color of his face fades and his feet sink lifelessly to the ground. He sees that a strange animal is standing right in front of him, whose head is like that of a lion, but the body is like that of a rhinoceros. Like the lions of the cold era, its big legs are hanging out, tentacles are protruding all over its head.
After seeing it, Veer is unable to move from his place even if he wants to, then that animal takes a long leap towards Veer, but before it can reach Veer, a spear comes flying and hits the animal and that animal gets thrown away. Veer looks in the direction of that spear in surprise, a horse rider wearing a green cloak riding on a strange horse goes behind that animal with a sword in both his hands. While leaving, the horse rider stops for a moment and turns back, due to which the hood of his cloak slides down and due to which his thick hair sways in the air. That horse rider was a girl, a very beautiful girl with big eyes filled with kajal. When she looks at Veer, Veer feels as if his heart will jump out of his chest. Such an innocent face in the garb of a warrior, this combination was really killer. The girl turns back and goes after that animal. Veer is about to call her when suddenly a hand comes and pulls him away. Veer finds himself surrounded by smoke again and when the smoke clears, Veer sees that Dr. Khurana is standing in front of him and is looking at him angrily.
"What foolishness were you going to do, huh? Do you have any sense of responsibility or not?" Dr. Khurana scolds Veer while growling. Veer knows that he is in no condition to give any answer, because of this mistake of his he could have even lost his life.
"Do you understand today what would have happened if something had happened to you? Why don't you understand Veer, you are still a child, this dangerous game is not for you right now." Dr. Khurana looks worried.
But Veer had become serious now, "Uncle, playing this game is not my hobby or interest, I am forced due to circumstances, now it has become my need."
On hearing Veer, Dr. Khurana calms down and starts listening to him. Veer tells him all the incidents that happened in the last twelve hours in detail and explains to him how important it is for him to go to Genesis and earn money. On hearing his words, Dr. Khurana goes into deep thought and Veer sits there disappointed.
After thinking a lot, Dr. Khurana says, "Okay, if you want to go to Genesis, I will not stop you, but before going there, you must know everything about it."
"I am ready, Uncle." Saying this, Veer puts his full concentration on Dr. Khurana.
Dr. Khurana now starts telling Veer about Genesis in detail, "Listen, our base of operation on Genesis planet or realm is named Devashram. You will teleport to your room built there but Veer, it will not be so easy to survive there. From time to time, you will have to cross the levels to increase your strength and ability and that will happen when you get Gene Energy Points, and you will get them when you hunt the alien creatures there and get their energy. This is quite similar to what happens in your video games, the only difference is that here the danger is real, one small mistake of yours can take your life and unlike video games, here you will not get a second chance. "
Veer knows that this is much more difficult than Dr. Khurana was saying all this so easily.
"The Genesis planet looks like our earth, but it is very different from our earth and the rules there are also different. In that world, both science and technology are useless because the creatures there are still developing, that is why no scientific or technical equipment works. In other words, a steel dagger will be more helpful for you than a machine gun. Missiles and nuclear weapons will also be of no use there. Even mobile phones or any such electronic gadgets will not work there. Everything will be exactly like it was at the time of the first development of the earth. "
Veer was listening to Dr. Khurana very attentively. It may have sounded like a scene from a film but in reality, it was very dangerous and interesting, and the surprising thing was that Veer was getting more and more interested in it, and he was eager to hear more.
