Bab 2: chapter 3 :Hidding the truth
The night air vibrated with an ominous energy as Alpha thane gazed lovingly at his twins Aurora and Aiden sleeping peacefully in their cribs, their tiny hands clasped together, a testament to the unbreakable bond they shared .
Alpha thane knew he had to protect his children, he could feel it in his gut that their birth is special , his wolf has been restless since the night of their birth and he knows better than not to trust his wolf .
He summon is beta , Micheal , into his office through their mind link , Hearing the knock on his door he looked at Micheal with a grave expression , "we have a situation" .
Micheal settled into the chair opposite Alpha thane with a thoughtful expression on his face , " is it about the blood moon or about the twins because I can feel that you're restless".
Thane sighed weary and pinch the bridge of his nose , "Micheal I don't know what will happen in the future, or why my children are born under the blood moon but I don't have a good feeling about it , but I think I might have a solution to it ,how about we don't announce their birth until a week later .not every pack member need to know just the few of us that was there is enough and when the twins are old enough we'll tell them their real birth date and the reason we decided to keep the truth hidden".
Micheal nodded thoughtful , considering the Alpha's words , " I think that's a good ideal , delaying the announcement could grant us time to strengthen the pack security ,and also investigate the circumstances regarding their birth". Standing up from the chair he went to where Alpha thane was sitting and clasped him on the shoulder his expression softened, "I know you're worried about your children, but I promise you that I'll protect them with my life".
Alpha thane stood up and hug his beta and childhood friend knowing fully well he meant what he said just said.
The week long secrecy surrounding the twins birth had expired , and the Alpha's announcement of their arrival sent ripples of excitement through the pack and the community.
The pack is bubbling with activities in preparation for the twins naming ceremony , the grand oak tree in the pack house where all ceremonies took place has been adorn with lanterns and flowers the garden has been trimmed, The naming will be hold under the full moon according to the pack's tradition .
The pack gathered under the ancient oak tree it's gnarled branches stretched toward the moon , it's bark was rough and etched with symbols of the pack history, the scent of damp earth and leaves filled the air , beneath the oak's canopy moonlight filtering through the leaves created an ethereal glow.
