Kai stood in the dimly lit interrogation room, his piercing gaze shifting between the robbers seated before him. They were battered but conscious, their hands cuffed to the metal table. His calm demeanor was unnerving, each word he spoke calculated and sharp.
"You didn't expect to get caught, did you?"
Kai said coldly, his voice slicing through the tense air.
At that moment he leaned forward, his eyes locked on the gang leader.
"Start talking. Who sent you?"
Before any of them could respond, the door to the room burst open with a loud clang, and the Chief stormed in. His heavy footsteps echoed against the tiled floor, and his face was a mix of frustration and barely-contained anger.
