As he leaned closer, she couldn't help but notice the way his muscles shifted under his skin—his strong chest, the defined lines of his abs, the broadness of his shoulders, and the tautness of his body. Everything about him made her pulse quicken, a heat rising within her that she couldn't ignore.

He leaned down further, his lips finding hers in a kiss that was both tender and demanding. She responded, her fingers roaming over his back, tracing the strong, familiar lines of his muscles.
