Bab 59: Horned Demon Guard

This was the first time that Limon had felt the sting of injury. He had no leisure to be preoccupied with the intense pain, for the second wave of attacks was already upon him.

During the first volley of bone arrows, the demons had also been affected. Numerous bone arrows were embedded in their bodies, which had the effect of slowing down their spellcasting. Consequently, the undead outside the iron gate surged through and pounced on the demons.

When the bone arrows rained down from the sky once more, Limon noticed the situation unfolding in front of the iron gate.

Limon knew full well that if the undead breached the iron gate, all would be lost.

There was no time for hesitation. Biting through the pain, Limon waved his hand.

"Dark energy impact."

A black light flared, and a sphere of black magic hurtled through the air like a burning arrow-shaped black flame, streaking towards the undead before the iron gate.

"Boom..."
