Chapter 66: Murdered In Her Ex-boyfriend's Party.
Xavier's POV
I watched as the table seemed tense, it had been tense since the moment we entered here. With Laura's hand shaking and her face deadly nervous. It made me wonder if she was sick and after a while things didn't seem to be changing. I had to ask her about it but she waved things off saying she wasn't sick.
My eyes lingered on Georgina Collins as she smiled, the smile that doesn't look a bit real, Gabriel Collins, he was also smiling, both trying to be visible at the party. Their kids had a face full of disgust as they didn't even try to hide their disgust for being at the table where I was sitting with Laura.
I stared at them all, my eyes darting from one to the other, lost in my own thoughts.
