Chapter 63: Eerie Feeling. 

Laura's POV

My gaze went to Xavier as he said that, I knew what I would face once I got to sit on that table with them. Being wretched wasn't what made them so despicable. Being rich, I knew they wouldn't have changed a bit, they would still be the same family that I had always known, taunting and trying to get rid of me and all my confidence. 

Xavier turned to look at me, his eyes roaming mine wanting to check if I was uncomfortable with that, but he felt weird, or rather stupid. I couldn't tell if he knew I didn't want what he just said or he was just oblivious. 

"Then, take your seats, honoured guests" Cole said and I had to force a smile, moving along with Xavier as the Collins walked after us. 

We took a seat on one of the tables which had chairs round it, enough for everyone one of us to sit round it.
