Mabel POV

Dressed in a leather suit jacket, I walked through the granite of the smooth road with my black leather boots clicking to the ground. 

I clutched my handbag to my shoulder as I flipped my hair with the other with a smile on my face. 

That should be unlikely for what someone who had just experienced a heartbreak should do but I had no time to grieve over someone I only liked but didn't have any feelings of love for. 

For the past few days, I had been happy obviously because of the breakup Cole initiated. I wouldn't have dared to break up with him because of the way he pleasures me and of course, the whole lot of money I made from him. 

But with him breaking up with me, I was able to see the bigger picture, to see that I could get a chance to be with someone better than him. And that's Xavier.
