Chapter 27: Finding Arianna

Laura POV

I sat down on my bed hugging my legs. My face was cold and terrified. All I could recall was what happened at the mall earlier. Olivia and Landon. 

They are in the city, and they were also in the mall for shopping. 

Panic cloud my mind thinking about that. Why were they here….I mean–how is that possible. We can't afford to bring our lives to living in this kind of environment. We were that wretched. But I saw them here and that could only mean my parents are here too. 

After all they did to me, I still couldn't bring myself to cut them off from referring to them as my family. Even the stepdad that raped me all day still stands my Dad to me. How foolish!
