Bab 68: School Holiday

Soon the school vacation will arrive and that day is the last day for students to enter school before the long vacation. As usual Claire and Valerie had breakfast together with their parents.

But that day only the father cooked breakfast, they didn't see their mother. Claire sat in his chair and put his bag beside the dining table.

"Dad, where's mom?" Claire asked.

"Your mom is not feeling well, she is resting in her room. You two have breakfast first," replied Wolmint as he placed two bowls of chicken and vegetable soup in front of Claire and Valerie.

The three of them ate breakfast together enjoying the warm soup in the cold weather. "Tomorrow you will start your vacation. I hope you will help your mom with the housework during the vacation. Let mom get a little rest too," their father told them.

"Sure, don't worry Dad, we'll help mom!" replied Valerie enthusiastically.
