The teacher looked at Anabella with an almost hopeful expression before she caught what she was doing and quickly backed off with a nervous laugh.

"Hahaha, please forgive me for the way I acted with you. This was not my intent. I was just feeling nervous since a big incident almost happened yesterday….

Please, don't feel burdened by it all, and have a pleasant trip back."

The lady spoke softly, and Anabella gave her a last look of concern before she left the school and returned home.

As much as she wanted to follow Noah to his work and escape reality, she had a home to return to and a husband to speak to.

Knowing Daniel, he would be pissed off, and he would also find a way to blame Anabella for what happened.

She knew what would happen but still walked into the place she dreaded and braced herself.

"Do you want me to come up with you? I can act as your support if you want me to."
