Bab 111: The Demon King’s Return

The scene was still, heavy with anticipation, as Jin turned to his father, King Festus, one final question weighing on his mind. "You've told me what The Hunt can do. But… what about The Architect ability?"

Festus smiled, his eyes soft with pride. "The Architect is a gift unlike any other. Within you now lies the power of ancient warriors, our family's finest. They will come to your aid when called, guiding you in battle and in life. You are the bearer of this legacy, Jin."

Jin's breath caught. The weight of his father's words settled into his chest.

Festus continued, his voice low and steady. "Everything you need is inside you, my son. Everything. Remember this."

Before Jin could respond, Festus raised two fingers, the space around them shimmering faintly. "But you cannot stay here much longer. Atlantis's energy is not yet your domain."

A surge of light burst forth as Festus flicked his fingers. The bond between father and son severed, and the vivid colors of Atlantis dissolved into smoke and darkness.

Jin reappeared amidst his team. Smoke curled from his body, every inch of him glowing with an otherworldly aura. His muscles seemed carved from stone, his stature more commanding than ever before. His eyes burned with a faint crimson light, and his very presence seemed to weigh on the air around him.

Mengi's lips spread into a knowing smile. "Brother," he said, his voice brimming with emotion.

Mengi turned, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Did you see him, Jin? Did you see Father?"

Jin nodded. "I did."

Jin's voice trembled as he continued. "It was… the most beautiful moment of my life." He hesitated before adding, "Father told me he loves you, Mengi. Just as much as he loves me."

Mengi placed a hand on Jin's shoulder, his grip firm and reassuring. "I never doubted that. And now, Brother, you carry his will. This world needs you."

Jin wiped his tears, but his expression shifted—hardening into something unrecognizable. His once-soft demeanor had been replaced with a cold, ruthless determination.

As the team's attention turned to the teleportation pillars, a strange sight greeted them. Flames licked at the once-pristine stone, and Seiji's sharp eyes narrowed. "Something's not right." Without another word, he sprinted toward the pillars, urgency driving his every step.

The rest followed, but Jin hesitated for a moment. Stretching out his hand, he felt the faint connection to Atlantis still pulsing within him. "I'll see him again," he murmured. "Atlantis is with me now." With that, he ran toward the pillars, and the team vanished.

In the Free World, Shenlog and Jingwei strolled through the dimly lit corridors of their stronghold. The air was quiet, but tension lingered.

"It's been weeks since Seiji and the others left," Shenlog said, his brow furrowed. "I hope they're okay."

Jingwei nodded solemnly. "They'll make it back. They're stronger than we think."

Meanwhile, in another chamber, Rebekah stood before a glowing sigil, her face illuminated by its ethereal light. A triumphant smile spread across her lips. "I'm beginning to master it," she whispered, her voice filled with quiet determination.

When the team materialized in the God Hunter family settlement, they were greeted not by the lively home they had left but by devastation. The settlement was unrecognizable. The ground was scorched black, trees had been felled like matchsticks, and smoldering ash hung in the air like a veil of death.

Seiji froze, his breath catching in his throat. His eyes darted across the wreckage, searching for any signs of life. "Arya!" he screamed, his voice cracking with desperation. "Arya!"

No answer came.

Mengi stepped forward, his expression grim as he surveyed the destruction. "This wasn't just an attack. It was an obliteration," he said coldly. "Whoever did this didn't want to leave survivors."

Jin stood apart, his glowing eyes scanning the ruins. His face betrayed no emotion, but inside, his mind churned. If Father had taken a different path… none of this would have happened.

Seiji knelt, his trembling hands picking up a shattered bow—the one Arya had carried. "Arya…" he whispered, his voice breaking. Slowly, his grip tightened, and his expression hardened. "Whoever did this… I swear, I will kill them."
