Seiji approached a massive metallic door, its frame carved with intricate, otherworldly symbols glowing faintly under the dim red light of the chamber. The door seemed out of place amidst the decayed industrial surroundings, a relic from another era entirely. As Seiji's footsteps echoed on the cold, cracked floor, he paused, turning his gaze toward another smaller door etched with crude, hastily made markings. From beyond that door came a low, guttural sound—half a groan, half a growl.
Cautiously stepping forward, Seiji placed his hand on the smaller door's corroded handle, giving it a slight push. It creaked open to reveal a horrifying sight: a massive, grotesque figure hauling a line of prisoners. Its dark, sinewy body was punctuated with bulbous golden orbs, each marked with holes resembling oversized dice. From its back sprouted multiple writhing tendrils, ending in grotesque mouths lined with jagged, carnivorous teeth. The tendrils lashed at the air, emitting eerie, high-pitched screeches, as if alive and angry. The figure's arms were unnaturally long, its yellowed claws digging into the shackles of the prisoners it dragged. The prisoners' faces were pale and hollow, their bodies trembling as the creature pulled them forward.
Seiji's eyes narrowed, his usual playful demeanor fading. He muttered to himself, "Guess I've found my welcoming party. What the hell is this thing?"
Meanwhile, back at the battlefield, CP0 stood still, staring at his burned hand. The blue flames around his body flickered aggressively, as if mirroring his growing frustration. "Dr. Rend will not be happy about this," he said in a voice both mechanical and human, a faint undercurrent of emotion breaking through. "Very well. Two against one doesn't seem fair, does it?"
Jin, standing a short distance away, raised an eyebrow, his face tightening in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
Before Jin could fully comprehend, CP0's body emitted a harsh, searing blue glow. His form shimmered, and a second CP0 emerged from within him like a mirror splitting apart. The duplicate stood fully formed, burning with the same intense flames as the original.
Madagascar's monkeys, Ma and Pa, immediately sprang into action, their instincts sharper than ever. Pa, the more cautious of the two, shouted, "Avoid close range, you fool!" But Madagascar only smirked, gripping his legendary staff.
The original CP0 activated his Expansion Mode, sending out an overwhelming wave of blue heat that rippled outward, melting everything it touched. The air sizzled with energy, the stone beneath them turning into bubbling lava-like liquid. The heat was so intense that even the monkeys growled in discomfort. The duplicate CP0 raised its arm, pointing directly at Madagascar. Both CP0s simultaneously shouted, "Black Step Technique!"
In an instant, the CP0s vanished, their speed akin to teleportation. Madagascar reacted swiftly, extending his staff. "Extend Staff!" he roared, the weapon elongating at incredible speed, smashing into the original CP0 and sending him hurtling backward. But the duplicate CP0 materialized right in front of Jin, delivering a powerful kick to his midsection. The force of the impact sent Jin crashing through several buildings, each one collapsing in a cacophony of shattered stone and splintered wood.
Madagascar turned his attention to the remaining CP0, but before he could act, the duplicate appeared behind him. With terrifying precision, it grabbed Ma from Madagascar's shoulder, slamming her into the ground. Ma let out a screech of pain as Madagascar roared in anger, his skin visibly burning from the heat radiating off CP0. The duplicate wasted no time, delivering a devastating roundhouse kick that sent Madagascar flying into a nearby building, which crumbled under the impact.
Pa, now free-floating in the air, narrowed his eyes and clasped his hands together. "Rubber Monkey Technique!" His body transformed, becoming elastic and malleable. Stretching his arms downward, he grabbed hold of the nearest building, swinging himself away from CP0's incoming punch. With acrobatic precision, Pa used his rubber-like body to slingshot around the battlefield, appearing behind the duplicate. He hurled a small box-like device marked with a monkey symbol at the enemy. "Kai!" he shouted.
The box exploded upon contact, a deafening blast accompanied by a flash of bright orange light. The shockwave tore through the area, momentarily halting the relentless advance of the duplicate CP0. Pa quickly stretched his arms again, pulling Ma to safety as the dust settled.
Jin emerged from the rubble of the buildings he had crashed through, his eyes burning with determination. "This isn't over," he muttered, gripping his sword tightly.
From across the battlefield, CP0—both the original and the duplicate—stood unfazed, their flames roaring even brighter. "Let's see if you can handle double the punishment," the original CP0 said, his voice laced with cold amusement.
Madagascar limped out of the debris, his staff resting on his shoulder. "Alright, Jin. What's the game plan now? These guys aren't messing around."
Jin's gaze remained locked on the CP0s. "We finish this. No holding back."
