"I'm not in Seattle right now," Alice said after a pause, her voice cold but tinged with determination. "I'll visit her when I'm finished here. In the meantime, you take care of her."

Williston huffed in annoyance but didn't argue. "Fine. But don't take too long. She doesn't have much time."

The call ended, and Alice stared at the phone in her hand, her emotions swirling.

Just as she was about to push her thoughts aside and focus on her next task, her phone vibrated with a WeChat notification. She glanced at the screen, her lips twitching as a flicker of surprise crossed her face.

It was Mr. Hunt.

His message was brief yet commanding: Don't forget to come over tomorrow for the treatment. I'll send the address shortly.

Her heart skipped a beat as she read the words. Tomorrow? She hadn't told him when she would be available. Why was he so sure it would be then?
