Bab 12: Chapter 11: I saved a VIP?!
The walk back to the dorms was quite peaceful, with Wen Jiexi wanting to lead them through a shortcut. However, it was the woman with the mask and sunglasses who was leading instead. It seems that this woman was very familiar with the neighborhood around her. Wen Jiexi only remembered a few fuzzy directions and compared to the woman, she seemed like the outsider.
"Jiexi, how old are you now? How come you don't even know the roads leading to your school?" Lin Yunxi laughed. Who would've thought that the smart and sharp looking Wen Jiexi was actually directionally challenged?
"I just became a sophomore today and previously because of my poor health I would only go to three buildings: the library, dormitory, or the tutor center. I rarely would go outside." Wen Jiexi said, feeling embarrassed.
"Poor health? Really? I would've never guessed that." Lin Yunxi felt shocked. Even Su Chenyu, who was quietly leading the way, looked back at her in surprise. After all, a girl who can kick so accurately and powerfully was actually a sickly person before. It was really hard to believe.
"It's true! Before I…" Wen Jiexi felt a little helpless and could only briefly tell the two about her previous experiences as they entered the school dorms. The aunt who managed the dorms was having a meal and she had a small tv set up as she watched a variety show. Occasionally she would look up at the students coming in, just in case any boys tried to sneak in.
She glanced at the two women behind Wen Jiexi, and looked them up and down a few times, especially that woman in mask and sunglasses. Their figures looked familiar, so she didn't think too much of it. Wen Jiexi would often bring a doctor or nurse with her, and they would wear similar disguises.
Letting out a breath as the aunt waved them through, Wen Jiexi guided them up the stairs to her room. She opened the door,
"Come on in."
"Thank you." Su Chenyu nodded and stepped forward with Lin Yunxi following behind. Seeing them enter, Wen Jiexi looked around to confirm no one saw them before closing the door. For some reason, she felt that if the woman in front of her was recognized, things would get troublesome.
"Sit anywhere you want, you can even sit on the bed." Wen Jiexi saw the two standing awkwardly and said quickly. There were a few mats in their dorm and a small coffee table lying between the two beds that they used to greet guests.
"Whaaaaa, Jiiexi, your school's dorms are really amazing." Lin Yunxi turned to stare at her surroundings and then remembered her own four person dorm when she was in college. Her desk was too small for her to write on, and she would be constantly bumping into someone. Compared to this, mine was a pigsty…cough….accidently cursed myself there…
"Haha, this is one of the things our school prides itself on. In fact, many choose this school because of the dorms." Wen Jiexi walked out of the kitchen, bringing a tray with cups of tea on it. She set the tray down on the table.
"Come drink some tea, you two must be parched from all that running. Be careful it's hot. Oh, and you can remove your mask and sunglasses if you want. No one else will be coming except for my roommate."
Lin Yunxi had already fully revealed her face, but this woman was still fully covered up, making Wen Jiexi feel a little confused. She can only assure her that no one else was coming, so the woman wouldn't have to worry.
"I understand." Su Chenyu nodded and took off her mask and sunglasses. With this one move, she exposed her delicate and stunning face.
Wuooooo, Sister Cu has revealed herself! Lin Yunxi looked expectantly at Wen Jiexi, but the other person didn't exclaim or shout like she expected. None of the usual excitement showed on her face like people usually had when they see the film princess. Instead, there was a slight frown, her brows furrowed.
"You look really familiar…..Have I met you somewhere before?" Wen Jiexi scratched her head. This gorgeous beauty in front of her looked so familiar, where has she seen her??
"Is that so? Your mind is probably playing tricks on you." Su Chenyu picked up a cup, lightly blew on it and sipped it. En, not bitter, it's actually sweet. This is good tea.
"Really?" Wen Jiexi grabbed some snacks from the box next to her and placed them on the table. She accidentally noticed a flash of light. Was that coming from the eyes of the beauty? It seems like she's looking at the snacks in my hand? Is it another illusion?
The Lin Yunxi who felt somewhat excluded: "…." Little Su, is it good to lie to someone like this? This person is the final boss' beloved little sister! Furthermore, your foodie side is coming out again, please act more restrained!
Completely unaware of the gaze directed at her from her own assistant, Su Chenyu politely thanked Wen Jiexi and then opened the packet of cookies. Ah, the cookies are delicious.
Even the confused Wen Jiexi could see Su Chenyu's satisfied expression. Glancing at her, it was like feeding a cat. Lin Yunxi silently covered her face, this is too much, and stood up.
"Jiexi, can I borrow your bathroom? I want to take a shower." Lin Yunxi glanced down at her body. Earlier, when she fell on the ground, she got covered in dirt and gravel. Even if she wasn't a clean freak, it still didn't mean that she can tolerate being this dirty.
Wen Jiexi thought about it, stood up, and grabbed a light tracksuit from her closet,
"If you don't mind, you can wear this. After all, why take a shower if you're going to wear those dirty clothes again. However, you're going to have to wear your own underwear." Wen Jiexi looked down at Lin Yunxi's chest, which was at least two cup sizes larger than her own, and sighed. I'm not small, I can be considered normal among others! But why is it in front of Sister Lin's mine that it seems like two little buns instead? This is not scientific?!!
If she didn't compare the two, then there would've been no harm, but Wen Jiexi's heart was instead filled with resentment. And then she looked over at the beautiful lady who was eating her cookies quietly. Finding that the woman's chest wasn't small either, and could even be bigger than Sister Lin's, felt even more sullen. However, she was caught by the beautiful woman's meaningful gaze. A quick-witted person, her voyeurism was caught almost immediately. Wen Jiexi's ears turned red and she quickly turned to give Lin Yunxi her clothes.
"Here you go, please don't be polite and go ahead and use them." After spending more than a year in the entertainment industry, although her eyes were not as sensitive as Sister Wang's or as sharp as Su Chenyu, Lin Yunxi was still able to pick up on Wen Jiexi's expression. Please, there are only three people here. Su Chenyu, that oddity, one can just leave out but, ahhh, Wen Jiexi is so cute! Look at those blushing ears! How cute!!! Such a cute little sister, I want a dozen more like her! Oh, now I know why the final boss is a sis-con.
"Hehe, thank you Jiexi! Come over and give your big sister a kiss!" Saying so, she reached over to hug Wen Jiexi, but Wen Jiexi jumped out of the way. Now, not only was her ears red, her face was flushed red to now! She started to laugh, but then Su Chenyu glanced over, and the laughter immediately stopped. Lin Yunxi hurriedly carried her clothes to the bathroom, wondering why she felt killing intent in that gaze.
Since Lin Yunxi left, the atmosphere turned even more awkward. Su Chenyu was naturally neither a cold or hot person, but alway kept a neutral expression on her face. She quietly ate her cookies, faint chomping sounds ringing out as she ate another packet's worth. She glanced subtly at Wen Jiexi. Thinking of this girl's initial reaction to Lin Yunxi, she deduced that this girl was the one who helped find Big White. Beautiful and strong, she fit Lin Yunxi's description.
Meanwhile, Wen Jiexi had her head lowered, fiddling with her fingers as she didn't know what to say. She got caught peeping at the other person's chest, so no matter what she thought of, she couldn't say anything. She was at a loss. On the other hand, Dango rolled around on Wen Jiexi's bed twice and then took out its phone and started playing games. Completely ignoring the situation, and even if Dango did care, Dango wouldn't be able to help. Ai….Little Meng! Quickly come back and save me!
"You were the girl who helped Yunxi find Big White, right?" In this silent room, finally Su Chenyu made the first move, her cold voice sounding out, surprising Wen Jiexi.
"Eh….yes, Sister Lin looked very anxious at the time and since I wasn't doing anything, I decided to help her."
"So that's how it was. Either way, I wish to thank you. Big White is very important to me." u Chen said with a smile, nodded to Wen Jiexi, and then stuffed another cookie into her mouth.
Looking at the empty bags on the table, Wen Jiex wondered, Did she not eat dinner? But if she's talking to me at least she's not angry,
"Um, let's watch some tv. It's not like we have anything to do anyways." Seeing Su Chenyu nod, Wen Jiexi quickly turned on the TV. What appeared on the screen was a period drama, one of the more popular ones. It's called 「The Emperor's Resentment」It tells the story about the seemingly glimmering inner palace, but also the hidden darkness within it. The plot was good, but the biggest reason for the high rating was because of the female lead who was none other than the film princess, Su Chenyu. Li Lingmeng's wallpaper image on her phone was of Su Chenyu from this drama.
"Do you like watching this show?" Su Chenyu asked.
"Oh, well, my roommate was watching this yesterday. She's crazy for Su Chenyu to the point where she watches her shows every day. If it wasn't for what happened today, she probably will be watching it right now." Wen Jiexi said embarrassedly. In this show, Su Chenyu plays the empress, and looking at her delicate face, she really seemed like some straight out of the ancient textbooks. The acting was really good too, but how come this woman is looking more and more like the gorgeous beauty beside her….
Wen Jiexi looked back and forth, feeling she had discovered something amazing. This…this….the film princess is in my dorm?!!!
Just as she was about to ask…Bang…..the door opened and Li Lingmeng's energetic voice sounded, followed by the smell of takeout,
"Little Xi, I'm back! Look at all the food I bought, let's have an all-nighter tonight!"
Li Lingmeng rushed in happily, carrying a lot of plastic bags with hot food in her hands, and a large bag slung across her shoulder which seemed to hold a bunch of dry food. Running off her high, she was about to list the food she had bought. Then seeing the person with their back facing her, she asked,
"Oh? Little Xi is this your friend?"
"Yeah…I guess you can say that. Anyhow, why did you buy so much." Wen Jiexi didn't know if the beauty and her could be considered friends. Although she saved the other, it doesn't mean she can be forgiven for peeking earlier and this person is suspected to be….
"Oh, hello, I'm Little Xi's roommate. You can call me…." Li Lingmeng took off her shoes and walked over. She started to introduce herself but then saw the beauty's face,
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" A piercing scream sounded.
