Bab 3: Live Die Repeat and Despair

I never was a smart kid my entire life so I worked harder to make up for that. My grandpa told me once if I work hard people around me will appreciate my effort. That was when I dedicated myself to do better,to be someone who people can rely on.
Before I know it I became adult average company employee.
Late to work after all gaming I wanted to be on time so I rushed first second lights turned green. At that time I didn't get to know that truck driver seeing yellow decided to speed up thinking he might make it.
'Yellow mean you should stop idiot'
Being hit by a truck is not a pleasant experience. But this feeling of pain and force crushing your bones can't be compered to when I died crashed under heavy body of Alfa mimic and somehow still alive after that melt in his boiling blood.
I didn't expect to get isekaied into world filled with war against aliens. Memories and military experience belonging to Conor helped me pretend and keep cool. Using exoskeleton was bearable expect moving, It felt like walking in a silt.
When I gained this power I thought I could be a hero who saves everyone but facing reality I realised how wrong I have been. How constantly doing the same thing trying to do something better and improve bring only more pain. At the end there was only survival, to not die in agony. As my doubts about sense of this never ending fight were slowly eating me up, I met Cage who was the same as me. Together we tried to rescue women know as Full Metal Bitch in my company acording to Conor memories. It turned out she has gone through this just like us. She explained to us everything then she made us train.
Hardcore training founded by Rita and being killed if we couldn't go one any more. Training is worse hell to me that battlefield at this point .
'With enough time everyone can get used to it, right ?'. It's what i'd like to think but I know my sanity is crumbling.Together we have perfectly planed our route up to the farm house.
Once the weather changed as if a storm was coming only to disappear after a second that made us confused but we turned a blind eye to it. Only to something unexpected apear on our way...
{First encounter}
Rita suddenly stoped the car asking us
"How come you didn't mention we will meet a civilian." she said looking at us with angry gaze.
"We never did" I replied, shocked by sudden change. First time something like that is happening, We have already passed this point 6 times. It shouldn't change unless we did something differently.
"Fine,Conor stay out here as look-out, and Cage and I'll take care of it." Rita comand, making a makeshift plan of action
Waiting and observing if any mimic atack, I think what could have caused the change in this loop to make that civil show up.
Suddenly I heard authoritative yet calm voice announcing:
"Hello there....."

"My name is not important as such call me as you please"
...
"I have my own goal and if you'd like I can help in your cause"
...
"Yeah I know that ...."
...
"Is that so unexpected ? But you two don't have to act soo surprised"

I couldn't her everything from here so I joined them. 'In the worst case, we'll start over'
Exiting car I walked up to them. Seeing her I immediately started fell uneasy, noticed by other made me standing dazed for a minute a little cringe.
But when She saw me watching her, she grimaced at me.
"Who are you? You shudn't be here." She demanded,her arm pointing at me
"I'm sergeant Conor and you are?" I asked back, coming closer
"That's non of your concern besides that you still haven't told who you are."
'Huh? Have I said something wrong?'
"If you don't want to tell it's okay it wouldn't change anything anyway."
'What is she talking about' I thought asking for answer
"Wha do you mea..?"
But in return I only got stuned seeing space distort around her body while she started runing at me with athletic speed. Medieval armor materializing on her, piece by glowing piece, shining like a stars.
'I already get used to death and there's no reason for me to be afraid, so why...is my mind screaming to me to run away'
I felt like standing in front of predator, my fear made me pull a trigge to shooting at her ,to my surprise she only rised her left arm to protect her face as if covering before pebbles. In other hand she holded a sword ready to strike.
'Where did she get that sword?'

Before my eyes my blood was slowly flying, both me and my teammates shocked by sudden atack. The only thing I could see before my demise was beautiful blonde girl .Her face covered in my blood. Some of it made it to her lips licking her mouth she tasted it.
"Forewarned is forearmed"

"Fuck" Those words escaped my lips when that girl killed me...again.I woke up in a jeep greater by Cage saing
"We still can't go against her after all" comenting on that he started explaining to Rita what mess we are currently in and information we have gained. She thinked over like usual then not changing our route we attend a meeting with a doctor...again, told where we saw omega in the vision...again.Trained to the bone doing what Rita have asigned us...again.
Meeting her is the only option to get to that helicopter. Without it we don't have any sort of transport to Germany where Omega is.
Until now we know about her that until she spots me she is friendly and cooperative despite her odd behaviour and powers.
'Every fucking time only I die no matter what'
"She know about us and what we are trying to do. She can somehow get sturdy armor and extremely shapt blade out of nowhere,besides that she climes she is on a mision and if we want she can help us." Cage summarise what he know
"Although seeing me change her into terminator. You are lucky this only applies to me and she is not hurting both of you. In my eyes she is like a nightmare in fancy dress" I commented as ironically as possible
"This time we are going to talk so don't atack her first. We all agreed that an ambush won't work." Rita said
"You better get ready, we are getting neer" Conor warned us
"Here we go again." I complained
Our plan for making through this time is to persuade her, someone might ask why not fight her. Long story short when bulets are just bouncing of her, rockets are pointless because she just dodge them or grab them mid air after sidestepping then redirect them in my away, direct atack is even worse option, close combat with person who have sword,no thank you.I learnt that the painful way.Diplomacy is the last option.

When I hide in our car they talk to her negotiating cooperation.
'I hope this time she won't kill me.'
After waiting for some time I heard shooting signal we made up, crawling out off the car showing as little hostile as possible. Seeing expressionless face first time I felt even more uneasy. Sensing something wrong I want to warn them. Unfortunately I ended up with sword piercing my chest throwed by her ,I collapsed cursing...again.

"Go ahead" I said
"Khem khem .Only the two of us." Making fake cough after which Rita and Cage backed up to the car
"Conor was it, are you a champion?"
"What do you mean? You mean time looping ?." A bit confused abut her question I gave her honest answer
"I don't think you understand. Did you made a deal with a God?" Corecting herself she highlights the last part
"What do you mean?" Confused even more my head started to hurt. I holded my forehead with one hand just for the pain to go away
"You really have no idea, huh?" Mumbling under her nose she lost herself in thoughts, after a while taking a seat in a car she gestured us to go
Driving again on road we have not seen in a while have reassured me that our tedious effort are not in vain and with small steps we will kill those aliens sooner or later.
"By the way, who are you,why did you wanted to kill me, how can you move like that and...whay you do is some sort of mimic power?" Realising we finally have some time when I don't have to bother for my life. I asked her curious about most mysterious stuff.
"First of all I already told you, haven't you remember it yet after who know how much time travel ? Second I prefer to get rid of my potential enemy, I only know those two and you definitely shudn't be with them. For the rest it's none of your business!" She responded immediately
'Is she that way only to me or is it my imagination' I wondered looking over at my teammates
Conor jus awkwardly smiled when Rita just rolled her eyes. 'Deal with it' was what I get in respond from them
'But still I can't make out of my mind this feeling when I see her and that headache.' When I was thinking that Cage said
"What happened here?"
Place where peaceful safe house should be have transformed into ruined battlefield resembling one on the beach.
Numerous mimic corpses, slowly decaying decorating the ground. From time to time,ground is scarred with a statues of dead mimic near by, all of them facing a single direction where a pile of them is made.Comparing this battlefield to our on the beach, where craters from explosions and artillery are commonplace,this place lacking them is unbelievable.
'To kill soo many wochout any military weapon'
"Let me guess, you did that?" Said Rita parking a car on the road side
"Who else do you think it could be?"
"Right dumb question."
☆Pov. Narrator☆
Upon arrival, they settled in a shed in front of which heli is parked. Not a waste of ammunition or batteries, the weapons are half exhausted, which is the best condition they ever had when they came here.
Sora taking a chain from chain boom get behind Conor. Snatching his battery she forced him on a chair then she tied him up not answering to any of his questions.
"Hey, what are you doing?!"
"Did you just stole my battery!?"
"Let me go!!"
"Guys help, why are you just standing, do something!!"
Struggling he failed miserably. Being overweighted in his exoskeleton moving wochout assistance using share power of muscles is impossible.
"If I can't kill you I have to do something to make you unable to interfere in anything before we finish off omega." She explained bringing some more chains to reinforce bindings.
"Why you ask, they forbade me to kill you, but we agreed to immobile you. You will live and I don't have to bother about you. Plus even if you are champion that bulshit Omega, is keeping you alive." Her voice was harass and hard to accept by Conor
"But why, what did I do to deserve this?"
"I don't think it's your fault. I myself am new to all of this so I do what is necessary to complete my tasks. If you have objection. That's not my problem."
"And you guys agreed with this?" He asked feeling betrayed
"Look for me it's easy decision, if I can kill that shit I won't hesitate to sacrifice both of you"
"So Now what?" Sora asked
"Cage you can fly, can't you?"
"No, well yes .I mean I can take off. But I never had a chance to landed before."
"Let's not waste time anymore to that dame dam"
"Acualy omega is in Paris"

Hello it's me, sorry for the delay but I'd like to remind I write for fun.
Why delayed?
I have problem with dialogues and when something doesn't satisfy me I think and re do almost whole text. I get to a conclusion to stop being stuck here and move on. I still dislike what is up there but it pasable.
If someone have some hints or disagree with some content I will listen (probably)
Edit: Welcome back. I came back with idea how to push my story forward. For last 3 days I edited some details to make world build more accurate?. You knew uploaded chapters didn't save if you don't update them. I lost some good chunk of work becaus of that and it's not the same as I done it first time.
Anyway, I hope you like it and I didn't make any mistakes.
