Bab 32: More Chaos

Agent David arrived at the bureau, ready to tackle the day's tasks. Little did he know that a shocking piece of news awaited him. As he sat down, he was greeted with the news of Eddie's murder. At first, he thought it was a cruel joke, a ploy to rattle him.

But as he delved deeper into the details, the grim reality set in. The star witness, the key to their case, was gone. David shot up from his chair, his face a mask of disbelief and anger. He turned to his partner, who had just arrived, his eyes filled with a mix of shock and concern.

"What?!" Daniel asked as he was puzzled before his eyes became wide with disbelief as he took the paperwork from David. He scanned the document, his expression growing grim. "They got him?" he asked, his voice filled with shock and anger.

"They got him," David confirmed with a nod, his eyes burning with rage. "These bastards are going to pay for this," he vowed, his voice low and menacing.
