Liam and Charlotte had least expect Emily at the hospital neither did Emily expect them, anyways, fate has made it so.

They were both surprised to have each other seen in the hospital. "What are doing here?" Liam asked Emily, "is everything alright?" Liam asked with great concern, because he was surprised to see her. 

Hmmm, Liam who had never shown much concern about me especially towards the end of our marriage, becoming so caring.

Yes, everything is fine, I came to visit a sick friend, Emily replied, Hoping against hope that Jesse would get the message and wouldn't say anything he is not supposed to say.

"Oh really, wow, that's good of you. I didn't know you had a friend here in the hospital. Is the person someone I know?" Liam as if he knew any of Emily's friends when they were still together and the lives there. By the way, Emily isn't the social type that makes much friend, unless you offer to be her friend and she trusts you.
