"Father, say something! You're worrying us!" Lin Mang urged, as anxious as Lin Ken.
With a sigh, Lin Zhentian muttered, "Perhaps it's fate that our line must perish."
Hearing this, Lin Mang paled and panicked.
After a moment, Lin Mang brought up an old issue again: "Father, didn't that man just want to marry Qing Tan? Sacrificing her could bring us the protection of a powerful expert—it would be worth it!"
"Lin Mang! How dare you speak such nonsense!" Lin Xiao, furious, no longer addressed his brother respectfully.
