Bab 43: The Day Out

Her gaze drifted to the scenery outside, her thoughts elsewhere as they drew closer to a little cafe tucked in the corner of the town. She had insisted on finding a place close to Elion's mansion to avoid too much trouble.

"Here we are," the driver said, bringing the car to a smooth halt.

Raelynn turned to him, offering a polite smile. "Thank you. I'll make sure to bring you something to drink after this."

The driver nodded, his face blank but his eyes softening slightly at her gesture.

Raelynn and Zara climbed out of the car, greeted by the inviting aroma of fresh coffee as they headed toward the cafe. It was a charming little spot, with its wooden facade and cheerful flower boxes under each window.. The duo opted for a table close to the window, enjoying the way the soft sunlight highlighted the room.
