Bab 44: The Consequences of a Power

Elara, standing far below with Verion, felt her heart twist into a knot as she watched the three puppets materialize out of thin air.

Her wide eyes flicked between them and Elion, whose golden gaze was calm, detached—as though he had simply conjured toys for a child's game.

Yet, these "toys" radiated power and precision, each standing poised like warriors awaiting orders.

Elara's breath caught in her throat. A tangle of emotions surged within her—pride, awe, and something darker, something that whispered fear.

How can this be? She thought, her chest tightening. How can my son have this kind of power?

The glowing particles that had formed the puppets began to fade, leaving the three humanoid figures kneeling before Elion in reverent silence. Their presence was almost divine, yet deeply unsettling.
