Bab 8: Finding Andrew's Brother
ELENA POV—
[Time Left: 1 hour and 55 minutes]
I asked, "What's your name, kid? Tell me, are you lost? Where are your parents?"
He replied in a small voice, "My name is Andrew, sister. Yes, I am lost. I came here with my elder brother."
As soon as finished, his lips started quivering. Oh no, is he going to cry again?
"Don't cry Andrew, what did I tell you? You remember that, right?" he nodded his head, "ok, here's what we will do. We are going to find your elder brother and I am going to lecture him. I mean, how careless can he be?"
Andrew laughed and said, "My brother is someone who ignores people's nagging. He will just ignore you."
"We will see about that. Tell me do you know your brother's name?"
Andrew shook his head and said, "No, I don't know his name. I call him as Ivie."
"A nickname, right?"
"Yes, I nicknamed him that," suddenly, his eyes widened, "I remember he told me he had some work at the Game Arena. He must be there."
I said, "Ok, let's go there and find your brother."
[Time Limit: 1 hour and 50 minutes]
Fine, I have enough time with me to get the ring. Let's find his brother. My cursed luck always put me in unwanted situations. I asked the status about the Game arena. It showed me a map to reach there. Huh, it didn't show me a map when I asked the location of the ring. That time, it just gave me the address only. Wow, I don't know if I should consider the H.H as helpful or not. Ah, forget it.
[*Ding* A new side quest just appeared.]
[Side Quest: Help Andrew find his elder brother.

Ok, I didn't think that this would turn out to be profitable but I don't mind. So, I started walking with Andrew in search of his brother. We came across a lot of shops. I couldn't even comprehend what they were selling. Though, Andrew was blabbering all about these. It was as if he knew everything around us.
I asked, "Do you often visit here? You know almost about everything around us."
He replied, "Yes, I visit here every month with my brother," he smirked, hmmm, that should not be the expression of a little kid, "we are very rich people."
Wow, this is how rich people behave I guess, even if it's a little child. Come to think of it, I haven't yet asked about his age.
"Andrew, how much old are you anyway?"
He pondered for a minute and said, "I am around 9 years old... ok may be 10 years old. Yes, I am 10 years old. I-I don't know. I am not very certain. After my parents died, I don't celebrate my birthday. Brother always tries to force me to celebrate birthday but I don't want to." He had a very expression on his face when he said that. His parents died, so, the only member of his family is left is his brother.
Andrew asked, "Sister, I have told you almost everything about me. Why don't you tell me something about yourself?" He looked at me with a spark of curiosity in his eyes. His expression changed very quickly from sad to that of a curious cat. I sighed tiredly. I don't know what I was expecting from him. Children are very fickle in nature. Though it's a good thing his attention was diverted from the previous discussion.
I answered his question and told the basic details about me. He nodded and said, "So, your name is Elena. Can I call you Lena?"
"Ok, you can call me that if you want to. I don't have any problem with it."
"Great, so, Lena, where is your family? Or have you come here alone?"
I flinched when I heard his question. Family, he asks. I don't even know if they would care a bit, if I don't go back to that wretched house. Heck, they won't care even if I die. In fact, they would be very happy probably thinking it as getting rid of me for good. My previous life proved that.
Sensing my discomfort, he said, "Sorry, if you don't want to tell me about your family, then please don't answer. You don't like them very much, don't you?"
I nodded my head, confirming his suspicion. Thankfully, he didn't ask any further questions and dropped the topic. I looked at him and said, "You are a very mature child, aren't you."
He laughed and said, "I know that, I am a very mature child. So, don't try to underestimate me in future, Lena."
"I am not underestimating you. But remember that when I found you, you were crying like a baby," I chuckled and patted his head.
Andrew pouted and hmphed. He started walking faster as if trying to get rid of me. Haha, he is very cute.
After following the map, we reached the Game Arena. I said, "Andrew, we have reached the arena. Are you sure your brother is in here?"
"Yes, he told me, he had some work in the arena. Come on, Lena, let's find him."
Hearing him say this with so much confidence, I followed him into the arena. We searched the whole place to find his brother. It was a very difficult task for us as a lot of people were in here.
After some time, Andrew was exhausted and so was I. I said, "Andrew, you should call out your brother's name loudly. Maybe he would hear your voice and come to us. Let's stop searching blindly. This place is very crowded."
"You are right, Lena. I will start shouting his name, maybe he will hear us," Andrew agreed with me.
"Ivan! Ivan! Can you hear me? Are you in here? If you are in here, then come to the golf section. I am here with, Lena."
"Ivan!"
"Ivan!" He shouted. I paled as soon as I heard the name. This should not be possible, right? This Ivan and that Ivan are different... yeah, they should be, no they must be.
"Andrew! Thank goodness, you are safe and sound. I don't know what would I have done if something happened to you," said a familiar voice. No, this can't be.
When I turned to look at the owner of the voice, I trembled. My whole body was filled with terror. I was horror-stricken. This can't be possible. The very person, I wanted to avoid was in front of me. What should I do?
