Bab 2: 2. Plan Backfired
It has been two days since Yoji had broken up with Rena and in the two days, both Yuki and Rena haven't gone to classes. The former had decided to stay in her room and cry as she was hurt by what he had said, but she also couldn't find any fault in his words as well.
As for Rena, she also stayed in her room and cried out, she also lashed out at any of the three guys who tried to call her a day after the break up and threatened to go outside the campus and shout to the people about what is happening in the university.
That was enough to shut the three up as they didn't want her to do anything that might jeapardize them. Rena spent the two days in her room and crying and going over what she had been told by Yoji as she berated herself for her foolishness and for not trusting Yoji.
As for Yoji himself, he also decided to forgo going to classes for two days as he decided to workout to build up his body more, but it will take time as his body is much different, as per his wishes before he reincarnated.
He sat on the couch and ate his lunch and watched the TV, on it was news regarding heroes, monsters, Demi humans and so on and so forth as he sighed to himself.
'When he told me that this is very expansive world, I seriously didn't expect this. Almost all types of modern time hentai are part of this world.' Yoji thought to himself as he watched the news.
The university he goes to is a purely human one so he hasn't seen any non human races there or in the general area. The people are still only slowly getting used to the presence of other races after all.
There are also the heroes as well, but the difference between heroes and civilians are enough to distinguish their words. But Yoji knew that if that is the case, then there will be a lot of troubles as well.
"In any case, I should first take care of those three douchebags and the other professors and students in the university who use the girls." Yoji said to himself as he watched the TV.
'Well, their deaths might cause the authorities to investigate it, but the law enforcement of the hentai world are usually pretty incompetent. If you want something done, then you have to do it yourself, or seduce someone of a higher position of power.' Yoji thought to himself as he watched the TV.
Yoji finished his food and started to exercise more to build up his body and make it better then before.
At this time, Gida, Nanba and Charakawa were in their lair as they were talking about the situation with Rena.
"Can't believe that he found out. And because of that, she is refusing our orders now. I thought that she was fully under our control." Charakawa said as he looked at the two others.
"Obviously not, she must still have strong feelings for him. Don't forget, the only reason she followed us is because of the sex, but I don't think her love for him had diminished." Nanba, the black haired boy said with a calm face.
"And she is threatening to go and tell people about what is happening here. If any of the law enforcement were to hear that or something were to happen, then all the professors and the other students will throw us under the bus, since we are the ones who started all of this." Gida said with a grimace.
"It's all because of that Yoji brat. Rena was a good find, but if she isn't under us, then we are in more trouble." Charakawa said as he glared at the floor.
"Well, the reason she decided to disobey us is because of Yoji right? Then what would happen if he were to be attacked?" Nanba said with a smile on his face.
"What do you mean?" Gida asked as Charakawa was also looking at him.
"We know that she still has feelings for him, but considering the fact that he has broken up with her, he might not. In any case, if his safety is threatened by us, then she might start to listen to us again." Nanba said with a smile on his face.
"So what, I should go and beat him up?" Charakawa asked as he looked at her.
"No. If you go and beat him yourself, then it is possible that you might get in trouble. We can just use a thug for that." Nanba said to him with a smile.
"You always make good plans Nanba." Gida said to him with a smile.
"Well, if we're all in agreement. Then I will talk with the thug." Nanba said as he got nods from his two friends.
Timeskip
Rena and Yuki walked together to the university, as they had met each other on the way. But they haven't talked with each other, and they decided to walk together so that they might be able to become a bit more calm.
'What will I say to Yuki?' Rena thought to herself in shame as she had two days to realise the consequences of her actions.
'Rena looks very sad. Well, not like I'm any better in that department.' Yuki thought to herself as she walked with her friend.
The two were walking silently before Yuki's eyes caught the sight of Yoji walking a few feet in front of them as her eyes widened.
"Yoji?" Yuki said in surprise at seeing him.
"Huh?" Rena looked at her friend in surprise and then forward as she also spotted him.
The two girls wanted to go to him, but they stopped themselves as the conversation from three days ago echoed in their minds as their mood plummeted further. The two glanced at eachother before they kept walking, though Rena was a bit confused as to why Yuki isn't going towards Yoji.
'She doesn't know, right?' Rena thought to herself as she felt fear at the thought of her losing her friend as well.
As Rena walked, she spotted the three guys from the club as she stopped walking in shock at seeing them. But what puzzled her more was the smiles on their faces which scared her. Beside her, Yuki also spotted them as she glared at them, though she was a bit unnerved at seeing their smiles.
Rena looked away from them and spotted Momozono Haruka, a girl that was turned into a slave the year prior and in control of the Professor who she is with. She didn't understand why she was seeing all five of them right now at the same time.
'Even senpai and professor? Maybe I should've came a bit earlier.' Rena thought to herself as she frowned at the sight.
Rena felt her mood plummet from seeing all of these people together as the professor and Haruka had also spotted her. They already knew about her breaking off with the guys so they didn't bring it up with her, lest she actually expose them, though a deep buried part of Haruka wished for that to happen.
"Wh-Who is that?" Yuki suddenly said in a shocked voice which caused Rena to come out of her thoughts.
She looked at her friend who was looking in front of her with a shocked face as she did the same. But then her eyes widened as she lightly gasped when she saw a thug standing in front of Yoji.
But they weren't the only ones as the professor and Haruka, and the other students had also noticed the man standing in front of Yoji. Rena looked at the douchebags as they smiled at her as she realised that they are the reason for this to happen.
'N-No. They are targeting him now?' Rena thought to herself in despair at the situation.
"Rena. What is a guy like him doing in the campus, and with Yoji?" Yuki asked in a scared tone.
"I-I don't know." Rena said as she didn't know what else to say at the moment.
Yoji meanwhile just stared at the man standing in front of him as the man is a bit taller than him and has a smirk on his face. More students had gathered a bit away as they were looking at them, and many had recognised him to be the good photographer who had helped Rena at the contest, but they all kept a distance as they watched it as they were intimidated by the thug.
"Why are you standing in front of me like this?" Yoji asked him with a raised eyebrow.
"Nothing much kid. I just wanted to beat someone up and you just happened to be the lucky one." The thug said to him with a smile.
The students started to murmur when they heard that as the professor and Haruka were surprised by that. While Rena and Yuki paled at hearing that as the douchebags smiled at the scene in front of them.
"Yeah, I don't feel like getting hit today. You will only get in trouble if you hit a student, so why don't we just end this here and go out separate ways." Yoji said to him as he wanted to end this peacefully.
"You really think I will go away just because you asked. That's not how things work brat. Then again, I can see that you're just a nerd." The thug said to him in a mocking tone and a smirk.
"He's a great photographer." Rena muttered with muted terror as she held hands with Yuki.
The people around Yoji and the thug murmured again as they watched it happen.
"At least us nerds contribute to the advancement of society. What have you done that was so important in your life?" Yoji asked him in return with a neutral voice as he just raised his right eyebrow.
Many gasped in surprise and jaws dropped when he said that, more so from Rena and Yuki as they had never heard Yoji talk like that with anyone, as he was always soft-spoken and treated everyone with respect. Even the douchebags were surprised at hearing him talk like that as he was acting very differently compared to how they had first met him.
As for the thug, he felt his right eye twitch at the jab that was done by Yoji as he grit his teeth as being made fun of like that in front of so many people. His anger rose as he glared at the boy who is looking at him with uninterested eyes, as if he wasn't a threat to him.
"Is that right? You little shit. Do you think you can just walk away after saying something like that to my face?" The thug said as he glared at the boy.
Yoji just shrugged his shoulders with a disinterested way, which irked the thug more while causing Rena and Yuki to become more worried.
"You asked for it you brat! Don't think that you're better then me just because you're studying here!" The thug said in anger as he raised his fist.
Then before any of them could react, the thug punched Yoji right across his face as his glasses was sent flying a bit as he face was turned to the right as Rena and Yuki gasped alongside a good amount of the crowd while the douchebags smiled at the sight, as they could use it to get Rena under their control.
Yoji meanwhile watched as his glasses hit the ground before he turned his head and looked at the thug before he sighed.
"You just had to do it, didn't you? And here I was thinking that we could take care of this peacefully." Yoji said in a perfectly calm tone which confused many.
"Why the hell is he so calm? He was just punched by the guy." Charakawa said in confusion.
"Maybe he is trying to act tough." Gida said to his friend with a shrug.
"Let's just watch. We will know in a short time." Nanba said to them as he looked at Yoji.
Rena and Yuki were distressed at seeing this while the crowd was also watching and many had started recording the video for it before the guy had punched Yoji as he stared at the man.
"Since you hit me first, I think I should do the same yes?" Yoji said to him calmly which caused the crowd to go wide eyed at it.
"Hah! You? A weak looking scrawny kid like you will punch me? Like you could do anything to me." The thug said to him with an arrogant smirk at hearing him.
But right after he finished talking, Yoji's fist hit his left cheek and caused him to turn 180° in the air as his head hit the ground before he turned another 180° and then fell on the ground, unmoving. His eyes were fully white and his hands were shaking as he laid there.
The crowd was silent after that. Rena and Yuki's eyes were wide open as their looked at the scene in front of them with their jaws dropped at the sight. They weren't the only ones as the crowd of students were also shocked at what they have just seen.
The professor and Haruka were also shocked at seeing Yoji take care of a grown man like that. But the ones who were the most shocked were the three douchebags who had hired the man to attack him as they couldn't form words and could only look at Yoji.
"And you broke my glasses as well." Yoji said as he looked at his glasses and then at the man who is lying on his back.
Then he picked up his glasses and moved to the man's right and looked at his forearm. Then he raised his right leg and hovered it over his right forearm which caused the eyes of the gathered group to widen in surprise as they gained a general idea about what he is thinking of doing.
"Since you broke something of mine. I think it's a fair exchange." Yoji said to him as he brought his leg down and stomped on the thugs right forearm.
The sound of something breaking was heard by the crowd as they flinched before an ear piercing scream was made by the thug as he became conscious from the pain. Only for him to be kicked and knocked unconscious by Yoji with his left leg before he stepped back.
"Well, I guess you did help me let off some steam so thanks for that. I have been having a pretty bad day lately." Yoji said to the man before he pocketed his glasses and walked away.
The students in front of him moved away and made a path for him as Yoji walked through the space while being watched by the rest of the crowd. Many of the students felt afraid of Yoji due to what he had just done, while some girls were surprised by his strength and gained an interest in him.
The three douchebags now felt fear when they watched him walk away. They didn't expect him to actually retaliate and then break the bone of the thug.
"What the fuck." Charakawa said in shock and fear.
"He broke that guy's arm like it was nothing." Gida said in a scared tone.
"Well, this took a turn for the worse." Nanba said as he was also scared as well.
The professor was also in the same boat as he knew that Rena was Yoji's boyfriend and felt some fear as he watched the guy walk away after beating a guy so easily and breaking one of his forearms. Haruka was also a bit scared at the display, as she didn't expect Yoji to do something so violent.
But the most surprised were Rena and Yuki as they had never expected the normally soft-spoken, humble and kind Yoji to actually do something like that to someone, even if they had attacked him.
"How?" Rena asked in a small voice as she looked at Yuki.
"I don't know. Yoji never acted violently." Yuki said to her with a dumbfounded look.
The two girls then looked at Yoji as he walked away, leaving a crowd of awed and scared people in his wake.
