Bab 16: Goodnight Kiss

Driving Riley and Lea home is a quiet affair—well, at least for me. The girls are still buzzing from the night at the club, their laughter filling the car as I navigate through the city streets. I stay focused on the road, but my mind keeps drifting back to the kiss with Riley, the way her lips felt against mine, the heat between us.

It wasn't supposed to get this intense, not this fast. It was meant to be controlled, part of the game we're playing. But now that I've had a taste of her, it's hard to let go.

I glance over at Riley through the rearview mirror, catching her eyes as she laughs at something Lea said. There's something different about her tonight—lighter, freer. It suits her. And I'm starting to wonder just how far this game is going to go before it's no longer a game at all.
