Bab 83: 83. Those Monsters Look Like Komodo Dragons

Dusk had fallen, and the Blue Cloud Mountain Forest was once again filled with the sound of footsteps. A group of humans carefully treaded their way toward the spot where a man had been devoured by several monsters not long ago.

The nameless young man and Arkana led the way, their stances alert, ready to react should the creatures suddenly spring from the bushes and surround them.

Bram and Jonas walked closely behind, tasked with guiding the group along the right path. The elder and several other villagers trailed them at a short distance.

At the rear were Casildo, Galen, Birendra, Trisha, a few members of the Myth Slayer Taskforce, and some from the Mystic Plunder Circle, armed with advanced weaponry.

Tension hung heavy in the air with every step they took. Not a single word was spoken, as everyone was too absorbed in their wariness.
