------------------------

The next morning, Sato woke up early as usual, getting up right on time at 7:30. After completing breakfast for both himself and his pokemon, he restarted his morning training routine, which had been on hold for two days.

The Pokemon Center at the Saffron City Bus Station was quite spacious, so it also provided an outdoor training area for trainers to use. Though not very large, it was just enough to fit four or five people training at the same time if they squeezed in a bit.

Even though it was still very early, there were already quite a few diligent trainers around. By the time Sato finished breakfast and arrived at the outdoor training ground, two trainers were already training their pokemon.

These two trainers were not shy about using their advantage of arriving first, occupying more than half of the training ground. Seeing this, Sato had no choice but to find a small empty spot and start the morning workout for his own pokemon.

As usual, Sato arranged stamina training for his pokemon. Since the training ground was just an open space and the exercise equipment he had was too basic, he could only have his four pokemon perform some basic stamina exercises—namely flying and running.

Zubat, the large bat pokemon, naturally engaged in flight stamina training. The weight vest it was wearing had been increased to 15 kg. Its morning training routine was simple—flying 40 laps around the training ground.

Sato had roughly measured the length of the rectangular training field by counting steps. One lap was approximately 200 meters, so flying 50 laps with the weighted vest should give Zubat the equivalent of a flight covering several kilometers.

Now that Zubat had reached level 25, its physical development had progressed significantly. According to Sato's timed test, Zubat, while carrying a 15 kg vest, could fly 200 meters in just 14 seconds. This meant it could fly 14.3 meters per second, with a speed of 51.48 kilometers per hour.

Without the weight, Zubat could fly 200 meters at full speed in just 8 seconds, reaching 25 meters per second, or 90 kilometers per hour. Undoubtedly, through leveling up and intense life-or-death experiences, Zubat had grown remarkably.

As for Nidoran and Growlithe, since they were still young, Sato was concerned that too much intensity would hinder their development, so he hadn't put them in weighted vests yet. Their training involved running 30 laps around the training ground.

Because they were close in age, Nidoran and Growlithe were usually very friendly with each other and often played together. However, being the same age also meant they were a bit competitive.

Now, during their run, the two little ones were constantly chasing each other, neither wanting to be left behind. Of course, Growlithe was faster than Nidoran, so most of the time, Nidoran was left eating Growlithe's dust.

Perhaps having inherited his father's skills, Growlithe ran with a rhythmic pace and an elegant posture. This rhythmic running style allowed him to conserve energy during his runs.

In terms of stamina, Growlithe, with this running technique, was far superior to Nidoran.

However, in terms of explosive power, Nidoran had the upper hand. His strong hind legs gave him an advantage in jumping and sprinting. With a burst of energy, Nidoran could launch into a swift sprint.

As a result, when they ran down the long straightaways, Nidoran would often close the gap with Growlithe, and sometimes even overtake him.

Due to their competition, the two pokemon ran faster and faster. After three laps for Growlithe and two laps for Nidoran, they both collapsed, panting heavily, in front of Sato.

"Growlithe has excellent balance and stamina, while Nidoran excels in explosive power," Sato thought to himself as he recorded the data for the two pokemon.

As for Bellossom, Sato thought about it for a moment and decided to remove her weighted vest, allowing her to dance freely in the sunlight.

Sato had noticed yesterday, right after Bellossom evolved and used Grassy Terrain, that whenever she stood under the sunlight, the two flowers on her head would automatically begin photosynthesis, replenishing the energy she used while dancing.

Of course, since photosynthesis also requires water, and her body would eventually tire, she still needed to stop occasionally to drink water and rest.

Bellossom's dance wasn't just random movements on the ground. Sato had specifically drawn a figure-eight path on the ground and instructed that her dance moves had to follow this path.

This figure-eight path was designed to train Bellossom's evasion skills while dancing. Bellossom's dance was rhythmic and dynamic, and with enough practice, it could definitely become a method of dodging attacks.

The figure-eight path resembled two curved "Z"-shaped routes. If Bellossom could freely dance along this figure-eight pattern, she might be able to develop a sharp "Z"-shaped dance step, transforming it into a powerful evasive skill.

For Bellossom, dancing was clearly an excellent form of stamina training. Sato knew that Bellossom was the only pokemon capable of learning four dance-based moves: Petal Dance, Quiver Dance, Swords Dance, and Teeter Dance.

Although Bellossom hadn't mastered any of these moves yet, it didn't hurt to have her practice the dance she inherited through her bloodline, further improving her physical coordination and understanding of dance.

Therefore, using dance as a regular stamina training method for Bellossom was very appropriate. Considering that the weighted vest might interfere with her coordination while dancing, Sato decided to remove it.

Sato now had a small idea in mind: he hoped that Bellossom could fully grasp all four dance moves and eventually reach a level of complete mastery.

By then, Sato believed that Bellossom might even create one or several new dance moves. At that point, Bellossom wouldn't just be an excellent team support pokemon but would also become a formidable offensive force.

Thanks to the PokeBlocks, Sato's pokemon were able to train for much longer than those of other trainers. During their one-hour training session, the training ground had already seen three different groups of trainers (with five per group) rotate through.

At present, only Sato's pokemon were still training on the field, which naturally attracted the attention of some observant trainers.

About ten minutes later, both Nidoran and Growlithe, the two young pokemon, finally completed their stamina training, powered by the PokeBlocks and their strong willpower. Sato then announced that the morning stamina training was over.

Sato led his four pokemon to an open area nearby. Taking out a thermos of hot water, he prepared to give Nidoran a bath and massage as a reward for finishing the training. At that moment, three well-dressed young trainers approached Sato.

"Is there something I can help you with?" Sato asked, glancing up briefly before continuing to use a warm towel to clean Nidoran's body. "I'm currently giving my pokemon a post-workout relaxation massage. Could you wait a moment?"
