It all happened so fast. One moment, Matt was pointing the gun right at me, his eyes wild with rage, and the next, Kyle was hurling himself at Matt, tackling him to the ground just as he pulled the trigger. I stood there, frozen, watching in disbelief as they struggled on the floor, the gun skidding away, far out of their reach.

Kyle was fighting with everything he had, his face twisted in pain and determination. They were just wrestling now, fists swinging, legs kicking, but I could see the desperation in Kyle's eyes—he was terrified, but he wasn't backing down. He was saving my life.

Finally, I snapped out of my paralysis and rushed forward. With every ounce of strength I had, I grabbed Matt by the collar and yanked him off Kyle, slamming him as hard as I could into the ground. The impact knocked him out cold, his body going limp beneath me. The gun lay harmlessly on the floor, but the damage had already been done.
