Indeed, Baron Irut had been very pleased with the mercenaries' performance and had given them an exceptional bonus.

The apprentice knight also raised the question of the villagers recruited into the mercenary group, saying that if Maxime needed men, he could apply directly to Baron Irut, who could use his power to promote them.
