[Aditya's POV]
'System, I choose no.'
I exhaled sharply, closing my eyes for a moment, allowing the sting of guilt to settle. It was a weight I had to bear alone, this responsibility that I had inadvertently inherited. The system's demands had been cold, its rewards tempting, but I knew deep in my heart that I could not sacrifice Draupadi's trust for the sake of political gain. Not after everything we had shared.
But Amba was different. She had lost everything—her kingdom, her family, her reason to live. How could I stand by and let her slip away? I had seen too much pain in her eyes, the desperation that had driven her to cling to me. I wasn't just her hope now. I was her anchor, the only thing keeping her tethered to life.
