Bab 22: The Light VS The Justice League (2/2)
Klarion and Dr. Fate clashed, their clash too much for the others to near, as they launched spells, Dr. Fate showing off the secrets to the magic he was taught by Escanor, although he was weaker, he out-skilled Klarion who quickly grew enraged by that fact.
Wonder Woman moved to dodge Cheetah attacks while quickly jumping back to avoid Giganta's huge fist which hit the ground, creating an earthquake, and a shock wave that sent Wonder Woman backward along with Cheetah, giving the opening for Ares to burst forward, aiming to take Wonder Woman head, but Wonder Woman blocked while forcing him backward. Even during WW2, Wonder Woman was able to defeat Ares who was far stronger than the Ares of today, with her growing stronger and more skilled thanks to Escanor she was sure she could take all 3 of them if she was careful.
Green Lantern used his Ring to create Superman, and the willpower formed Superman shot forward, clashing with Sinestro and Carol Ferris, shockingly overwhelming them. Hal grinned seeing this before he shot forward, joining his creation of Superman to fight the two. Thanks to Escanor 'training' he no longer created boxing gloves and stuff like that, Escanor beat some creativity into him. Now he could create something like Kryptonite which could even work on Superman. Adding his marital arts training, he quickly brought a beating to the two.
Shazam moved in, clashing with Black Adam, and Shazam was shocked the weakened Black Adam although weaker than him, was still able to fight back although he was forced backward. This is a Black Adam thousands of years old and had tapped into the full potential of the gods who gifted him his power. He was traveling countless times faster than light for countless years, of course, even in his weakened state he wasn't someone that Shazam could take down so easily... Luckily Black Adam was weakened. But Shazam was quickly defeating Black Adam as he adapted to his skills thanks to Escanor training.
Flash and Reverse Flash ran around the whole planet while fighting, Reverse Flash was gritting his teeth seeing how Flash and himself were somehow equals. Not too long ago, he was many times faster than Flash, what happened? He had always held back from enjoying making Flash's life hell, and now they were not just equals... but Flash was beating him thanks to Escanor's training. He couldn't take this! Fueled by his emotions, Reverse Flash pushed himself like never before, allowing for the clash between himself and Flash to grow equal.
Superman Punched the clone of himself, Bizarro, sending it flying into the side of a mountain. With rage at the fact he was being cloned like this, he shot forward his fist slamming hard into Bizarro's stomach, causing Bizarro's eyes to open as he threw up, before falling to his knees where he was put out of the battle... at least that was what he thought until he saw that there were more then a dozen Bizarro.
Why create one clone when you and the best villains on earth could unite to create a bunch of Superman clones, creating an army of them? Of course, not all of them were as powerful as Bizarro, Bizarro was almost like Superman, only having a few flaws, and he others were considered fake clones, but they were powerful, and their numbers made them powerful. Superman instantly got into battle, until he and the clones suddenly grew weak as Metallo appeared, in his chest was a kryptonite which weakened Superman... at least that is what he would have thought if Superman's body wasn't combating its effect, although Superman was only at 50% power.
But it was enough for him to combat the cyborg, which seemed to have gotten stronger for some reason, allowing it to combat the weakened Superman as equals, and adding the weakened Superman clones jumping in to fight Superman even through the weakness... Superman finds himself losing thanks to the number.
Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, and the others were fighting Poisonous Ivy, Deathstroke, Shadow Thief, and a Robot which seems to be the prototype of Amazo... they were of course losing, although this prototype of Amazo couldn't copy superpowers, it copied martial arts capability, and all type of skills could be copied, allowing it to copy and counter all of them.
Batman was the first to move in, Rai's Al Ghul after being captured by him, Batman went on to quickly move to help Green Arrow and the others. His Batsuit allowed him to match the likes of Superman and the others in strength, speed, and durability, this was all thanks to Escanor who pretty much turned him into Ironman.
Batman fought the prototype of Amazo, allowing the others to deal with Deathstroke and the rest... until Batman realized something. His Batsuit was being hacked, it seemed like Rai's Al Ghul fought him knowing he would lose, all to put something on his body that would allow the Thinker or whoever it was to start trying to hack into his suit.
This realization came too late, for some reason, his butler who had been trying to stop the hackers couldn't speak to Batman this whole time. This allowed Amazo to quickly move in, running an energy sword through the Batsuit... it would have killed Batman if not for Batman quickly leaving the Batsuit before it was too late...
The Batsuit floated in the air, making Batman's eyes narrow as he realized the suit would fall under someone else control, and through that, they could find many of his secrets. He quickly moved, having the Batsuit self-destruct while pushing it into Amazo, the explosion sent Batman rocketing away, it would have killed him if not for the Martian Manhunter moving in to catch him.
But the Martian Manhunter couldn't focus on Batman as he was busy fighting Firefly, the flames of course hurt, but thanks to Escanor helping him combat his fear of flames, he was able to endure fire far better than in the past. Looks like the Light did know how to combat him, there were also metahumans with flame abilities he had to fight... but now with Batman's help, this should be far easier.
'Why are they going all out now... it's almost like they want us...' Batman who took out one of Firefly's wings suddenly paused realizing something.
"Retreat, get out of here!" Batman roared, realizing this was what the Light wanted. His roar shocked everyone, but the heroes wasted no time in trying to fall back, only to find that the villains wouldn't let them, as if they wanted to buy as much time as possible with them here.
"It's too late!" Klarion laughed as from the sky, a silver robot floated down, landing before everyone, scanning everyone's powers, and copying them all. It grew Hawkgirl and Hawkman wings, it grew the S symbol of Superman, it grew Wonder Woman Lasso, grew Green Lantern's Ring, along with Sinestro's and Carol Ferris's ring.
It floated there, scanning the whole battlefield, gaining everyone's powers before its eyes landed on the prime target... Superman.
"It's copied all of our capabilities! We have to fall back!" Batman roared, saying the thing the heroes didn't want to hear. While the villain, grinned, Lex Luther appeared while looking towards Hawkmen.
(Note: Just so you guys don't get mad at me, Hawkmen isn't betraying the Justice League. This is Batman's plan... that went wrong. Also, I don't think I will have Wonder Woman get pregnant, her stomach was only hurting because of their cooking.}
"I have to say, thank you for the information. Now, without Escanor here, you all have no saver, so this is goodbye." Lex's words caused everyone to look towards Hawkman, unable to believe he would betray them... but of course, he would betray them. After the disrespect at Escanor's hands? How couldn't he? Everything was going well until Escanor stepped in and ran in mouth, leading the woman of his dream to just not want him anymore.
One should know, that in every reincarnation, he only had eyes for Hawkgirl, no one else. But that didn't matter, they could die together and they would reincarnate later. Once they reincarnate, things will be different.
"You betrayed us!" Hawkgirl yelled in rage
"I did it for us, once you have your memories erased, we can die and start over in our next lives without Escanor's foolish words. What we had was perfect, a fairy tale many dreams of." Hawkmen said just to be sent flying by Hawkgirl attack,
"Kill them all, I wish to clone them all before Escanor returns. That so-called know-it-all, I want to see what he would do upon his return." Lex said with a smirk, and so Amazo moved in, shooting to kill Superman first. The villains all stepped backward to watch the show, and the show was worth watching as the heroes tried their best to combat Amazo, but with the powers and abilities of both them and the villains, what could they do?
Batman wanted to call Zatanna and the other magic casters of the League over, but he was unsure if this thing could also copy magic... that was until he realized Amazo didn't copy Dr Fate's powers and was instead taking its time to try and understand it.
"Klarion," Luther called out seeing Zatanna, Zatara, and John Constantine arrive. Klarion grinned as he went on to hold the 3 plus Dr Fate back, it wasn't an easy battle for Klarion, but he was simply holding the 4 back.
"Damn it!" Katara said angrily, just a few days and they would have been under the teaching of Escanor. Escanor said it himself, she had the potential to combat beings like Darkseid. If she learned to draw out that full potential, she would be able to take down Darkseid alone hundreds of times over with but a simple spell. That was how talented she was, and the thought that one day she might be able to reach that level of power was something she looked forward to... but now this BS happened?
Superman was punched so hard in the stomach, that his bones shattered, he coughed up a mouthful of blood before he was sent rocketing into the ground, seemingly about to die. Wonder Woman tried to move in, but she was no match for Amazo, who without having to look at her moved to dodge and catch her attack, before breaking her arm.
She cried in pain, and Amazo threw her into the Superman formed by Green Lantern's incoming fist, leading to her being punched hard into the stomach, the punch imprint visible even from behind. She fainted from such a blow, and the Titans Watched in horror at the sight.
Raven hesitated for a second, and unable to watch this sight, she shot forward to fight Amazo. So long as Escanor wasn't here it was her duty to protect Earth.
"Wooimbouttamakeanameformyselfere!" Raven cried as a huge black raven formed, shooting towards Amazo who tried to copy what was coming towards her, but Amazo couldn't. Amazo was sent shooting down into the ground, by the huge Raven which quickly tried to swallow Amazo.
Amazo quickly broke free, trying to fall back but the Raven left Raven's body, shooting after Amazo. What was that raven you may ask?
Unlike normal humans, Raven can project her Soul Self as a black form of energy from her body for limited periods. This energy form takes the shape of Raven herself and can also function as a pocket of interdimensional space.
All attacks that hit the Raven fell into that endless void of darkness, all Amazo could do was fall backward, knowing that if that darkness swallowed him, he would lose... but Raven couldn't keep this up, so she quickly had everyone move so they would work together to take down Amazo, and that they did, leaving Lex Luthor's face to turn dark as he didn't expect Raven to have such power.
Lex quickly had the others join in the battle, quickly overwhelming the heroes. This forced Robin and the other side kicks to join in the battle, and a battle began.
