After all, this was death. If he himself was cornered in a position of having no more ways to survive, he might prefer to give up the secret because it was not the end while death meant no longer being able to live in the world.

"This is out of loyalty to a high-level doctrine," Sparrow replied. "I've tried a few times. People like them actually choose to blow themselves up. Normal people like us probably wouldn't understand their thoughts. According to my guess, when they receive such a legacy, it is possible that their own souls are manipulated in a special way so that they will insist on keeping that legacy from leaking to others who are not supposed to receive it."

"Even souls can be manipulated like that?" Aldric knitted his brows at that, feeling worried if he suddenly experienced that because of the desire for a special inheritance.
