Bab 173: Anna's Response

Aldric was not stupid enough not to understand that Sparrow had misunderstood something.

How could he have misunderstood?

Wasn't it obvious that they were only companions from the way he addressed her as Lady Anna, instead of calling her by her name directly?

Given Anna's intelligence, she must have understood all of this.

Surprisingly she responded with a smile, why didn't she get angry and reprimand Sparrow?

Aldric, who initially wanted to tell Sparrow that they were allies, could not help but be distracted by Anna's reaction.

Of course, he would not allow this misunderstanding.

"Old man, what nonsense are you saying?" he said. "Lady Anna and I are associates. You should have prepared two houses for each of us."

Sparrow was instantly surprised to hear that.

Afterward, he even asked, "Master, am I wrong? I thought you and Lady Anna were husband and wife."
