Aldric was actually escorted by Princess Charlotte to one of the palace doors, not the main door.

They walked side by side while continuing to chat, unable to stop because the princess kept starting.

Who could have an opportunity like this among all the young men in England?

Aldric was afraid there were none.

Some young men with status might be able to meet her, but that would be at a formal event.

Even if the princess had an interest in them, it was difficult to get a chance to interact specifically at a formal event that usually had a lot of people, this was unlike in this palace where they were not bothered by anything.

Unfortunately, the chance to enter this palace without a formal occasion or reason is almost impossible for anyone except for the core members of the Royal Family.
