Bab 103: Giant Octopus

"What do we have here?" Lucian said with a slight smirk, "A pretty big fucker, eh?" 

Michael began to walk up to Lucian as the flapping of Auriel's wings was heard above them, "Don't rush in so brashly, Lucian." He said, "This thing's ether is crazy high." 

They saw as two bulges began to rise from the side of the massive dome of flesh that was covered in dirt, glowing lights appearing. 

"That might be its eyes...." Michael said, "Alright, this is what we'll do! Brodin, provide cover fire as Lucian and I-" 

"Watch out!!" Lucian shoved Michael out of the way as a massive tentacle crashed right where he stood

The tentacle hit the ground, shattering it violently as a stone and dirt flew everywhere. Michael landed on his feet despite being flung by Lucian's shove. Lucian had stepped back right at the last second as the Octopus flung another of its tentacles at him.
