Outside the Ceremony

In a desolate part of the island, two individuals were walking. They were No. 5 and No. 4.

No. 5 grumbled with a scowl of frustration:

"Ugh, I really hate you. Why did you kill No. 23?"

No. 4 replied indifferently:

"Didn't the Leader tell you to bring in new people?"

No. 5 kept walking, sulking in silence. When the two reached an empty clearing, they noticed someone sitting there. In the center of the clearing, a man was lounging in a chair, sipping on something.

No. 4 stopped, frowning as he murmured with a pensive expression:

"Who's that? There shouldn't be anyone here."

No. 5 pointed and asked:

"Hey, there's someone over there! Are they one of us?"

No. 4 turned his gaze to the man and examined him closely.

"I don't think so."
