Remirg Kryptos lied on that very table, his back becoming more and more hunched with each passing minute. To his prospects, the book sure was quite gigantic. Two hours of continuous concentration had yielded him quite stunning results.

Having read no less than a hundred pages, he had learned about the basic principles and techniques to read runes. The language was somehow ridiculously simple, its short, syllabled words conveying their meaning to the fullest.

The letters were made up of simple symbols comprising of a total of ten symbols in all. All other words formed themselves as a derivative of these ten symbols.

And it was the rules of the formation of these derivative symbols that was pissing Remirg of. There were literally a hundred and sixty-two of them.
