Bab 34: Her Decision

"You don't have to return the money, Abigail. But please come to the meeting to meet the client. I promise I won't bother you again after this." Ryland said. 

When Ryland didn't hear a response from Abigail, he continued to convince her. "Just consider the money I paid for your grandmother's hospital fees as a fee for being the architect of this project. Please don't refuse my kind and sincere gesture, Abigail."

Abigail's hand clenched her cell phone tightly, but no words left her lips.

"If you hate me, don't think about this for my sake but for the nearly hundred employees who now work at Urbangrid. I know you know many of them, and I know you wouldn't do anything to hurt them. Am I right?" Ryland's words were enough to shake Abigail's soft and kind heart.

Even though Abigail despised this man, what he said made sense. However, she didn't rush to answer him. She tried to think over his words countless times.
