The Rocelyn Family, though, were her relatives. Her plan for revenge would definitely seem cruel to most people.
Alastor raised an eyebrow. "Do whatever you want. You don't need to fear anyone in Star City."
Eclipse smiled. Even though she felt like she didn't need to explain, she still said softly, "There's nothing between me and Robert anymore."
The Eclipse who had loved Robert so much was long gone, killed by the betrayal of the man she once adored.
Alastor looked at her seriously, and the darkness in his eyes seemed to vanish. He leaned closer and whispered, "I know."
Even if there had been something left, he would've cut it off.
Eclipse blinked, surprised that Alastor trusted her this much. Most men wouldn't be so easy to convince. After all, the old Eclipse had been obsessed with Robert, and everyone knew how crazy she had acted.
When she thought about that poor girl, Eclipse felt sad and guilty.
Alastor's hand gently touched her hair, and he wrapped his arm around her waist. "In five days," he said, his voice soft but strong, "you'll show them all. You don't need them. You'll live better than anyone else."
Eclipse stared at him for a moment, then laughed. She brushed her fingers over his eyebrow and smiled gratefully. "I will."
Just then, the last item of the auction was brought onto the stage. It was a rare, emerald-green diamond, glowing like a star. The diamond was beautiful, cold, and noble.
As soon as the diamond appeared, the atmosphere in the auction house became tense. Everyone was watching closely.
It was well known that green gems were the rarest, and this one was huge. Pink gems were cute, red ones were majestic, but green ones were quiet and noble. This gem was unique, a one-of-a-kind treasure.
The women in the crowd tugged on their husbands' sleeves, their eyes shining with excitement.
The host explained, "This diamond was found by the winner of the stone-gambling competition three years ago. It's priceless and has never been owned by anyone. The starting price is eight million!"
Eight million wasn't much for the richest people in Star City, especially those who wanted to impress their dates.
Right away, the bidding started.
"Ten million!"
"Twelve million!"
"Fifteen million!"
By the time the price reached thirty million, only a few people were still in the running. Not everyone wanted to spend that much on a diamond, and not all women were worth such a huge price.
Amid the chatter, Robert Jade stood up and shouted confidently, "Fifty million!"
Everyone looked over. It was the CEO of the Jade Group. The other bidders backed off, not wanting to challenge him.
The women in the room looked at Jessica, sitting next to him, with envy. She was beautiful and elegant, and the women whispered to each other.
"Jessica is so lucky. Even though she's just a stepsister, she's treated like a queen by the young master of the Jade Family."
"Eclipse was a fool. She had a fiancé but couldn't stay loyal to him."
"Yeah, if I were Robert, I'd choose Jessica too. She's talented and sweet."
Jessica smiled proudly, holding onto Robert's arm. She was happy. Even though she had stolen Robert from Eclipse, all she got now was praise and admiration.
Eclipse couldn't compete with her. She didn't stand a chance.
"Fifty million, going once… twice…"
Just when it seemed like the auction was over, a smooth, deep voice called out from nowhere.
"Five hundred million."
The entire room went silent. Did they hear that right?
Five hundred million? For a diamond?
For a moment, no one moved. Then, there was an explosion of chatter. Everyone looked up toward the second floor.
From the VIP room, a man's hand rested on the railing. Though his face couldn't be seen, his presence was overwhelming. Even from far away, the air seemed heavy with power.
Next to the man sat another figure, slim and elegant.
The women in the crowd were breathless, staring up, wondering who this mysterious man could be.

"Hiss, five hundred million!!"
"Who would spend five hundred million on a diamond? Who is this person in Star City?!"
The women were all excitedly whispering about the mysterious figure upstairs. Even Robert Jade, heir to the Jade family, one of the wealthiest in Star City, couldn't compare to someone who'd bid that high.
"Who is this man?"
"Whoever he is, all the powerful families in Star City cleared the way for him, so he must be someone really important!"
"And who's the woman sitting next to him?"
Robert's face darkened as Jessica Rocelyn, who was about to win the diamond, looked furious. She glared up at the mysterious figure, filled with resentment and jealousy.
Upstairs, Eclipse Rocelyn looked a little surprised at Alastor's sudden bid. "You didn't have to..."
She wasn't particularly interested in diamond jewelry, but Alastor leaned in close, his fingers gently brushing against her cheek. His voice, smooth and low, had a dangerous tone to it. "The best way to get back at someone is to take everything they care about."
Hearing this, Eclipse didn't refuse. She thought of Jessica, who had taken everything from her, piece by piece. Eclipse smiled slightly at Alastor and said, "Thank you."
She could already imagine Robert and Jessica's expressions when they saw her wearing the diamond.

After resting in the castle for a couple of days, Eclipse's forehead had healed, and she drove to Empire Group. Henry, the company's vice president, had been told she was coming and had dismissed the assistants to personally greet her at the gate.
A sleek, black car pulled up, and Henry, with a warm smile, opened the door. Eclipse stepped out gracefully, her eyes meeting Henry's. She smiled. "Hello, Mr. Henry."
Henry froze for a moment. Wasn't this Eclipse Rocelyn? The same girl who had a scandalous reputation in Star City?
And yet here she was—the wife of the powerful Alastor, a man who ruled over Empire Group and much more. Henry almost couldn't believe it. The rumors about Eclipse had been anything but kind, and yet Alastor treasured her?
Trying to regain his composure, Henry smiled awkwardly. "Miss Eclipse, you certainly... surpass all expectations."
Eclipse understood his confusion and smiled, extending her hand. "Please take care of me, Mr. Henry."
Henry only lightly shook her hand, still in shock. "Of course, Miss Eclipse."
Eclipse's expression softened. "Thank you, but I'm really just here to deliver the script. I won't be staying long. Empire Group is still in your capable hands."
Henry's eyes flashed with understanding. She wasn't here to run the company. "Miss Eclipse, Empire Group is a gift from your husband. You should accept it with pride. I promise, no one will disrespect you."
Eclipse blinked, then smiled. "It's not that, Mr. Henry. I'm still a student—I haven't even graduated yet. I wouldn't know how to manage such a large company!"
Henry nodded thoughtfully. Now he understood why Alastor had placed him as vice president. He couldn't bear to see his wife burdened by the stress of running a corporation.
With a sly smile, Henry gestured towards the building. "Right this way, Miss Eclipse."
Eclipse thanked him again and walked towards the grand entrance of Empire Group, her high heels clicking softly on the ground. Henry followed closely, quietly observing her poised figure.
Despite her reputation, there was something about Eclipse that was both elegant and commanding. She walked with confidence, as if she belonged in this world of power and wealth. Henry couldn't help but be intrigued.
---
Two days after Jessica had stolen her script, Eclipse had rewritten it from memory, capturing every detail. Now, sitting in her sunlit office, she handed the new version to Henry.
"Here's the script," she said calmly. "I hope we can start filming soon."
Henry raised an eyebrow, flipping through the pages. "You're the CEO now, Miss Eclipse. If you want to make a TV drama, no one will stop you."
Eclipse smiled knowingly. "If we get the casting and production right, this show will be a hit. But there will be challenges, and possibly some legal trouble."
Henry smirked. "So, what you're saying is, we might lose money?"
Eclipse tilted her head, her eyes glinting with determination. "I never make bad deals, Mr. Henry. If someone causes me to lose money, I'll make sure they pay a much higher price."
Henry chuckled, already entertained. "Well then, Miss Eclipse, lead us to victory."
