Bab 7: Big Villain Blue
What makes a good Pokemon trainer, and what qualifies one as more talented than Blue, who was already regarded as one of the world's most promising trainers?
Sidney allowed his brother to ponder these questions as his nerves returned abruptly—checking out their older brother's social media platforms.
Instead of worrying about something that had nothing to do with him—something he would still believe even if he wasn't a transmigrator—he focused on his newest Pokemon, Aron.
Sidney applied the change to Aron directly. Because this was Aron's first entry, it had a significant impact on his new description.
It sounded rather overpowered.
Sidney was pleased because this was a world in which he could die as a trainer along his journey. Pokemon were not the only menace in the world.
You didn't even have to be a trainer to be in danger in this world. There were everyday accidents involving ordinary people.
With his life on the line, Sidney couldn't care less about how dramatically different he would be.
The system had already informed him that he had no reason to be concerned about an investigation or the illegality of his Pokémon. His Pokemon could not be investigated with technology or anything else. They could also participate in any type of competition or battle. The world's will would be modified. Even if he was called a cheater, he would be defended by a bigger person.
Another noticeable aspect was that, after just one edition, his Pokemon appeared to be more friendly and loyal to him.
[Pokemon: Aron]
[Info: A sturdy and rocky mountain pokemon who prefers ore and metals over other foods. Owned by Sidney Oak. The first step he takes after exiting his Pokeball triples all of his three-dimensional defensive abilities (HP, Defense, and Special). Any subsequent steps heal him and any status conditions by 90% for each. His devotion to his new trainer is at the level of worship.]
Deino and Aron were already out of their Pokeballs at this point. Sidney had served them their first meal together earlier. Both he and Gary had fed their new Pokémon. It was the first thing a responsible new trainer would do in general.
Sidney and Aron locked eyes for a brief moment, during which a thousand unspoken words of friendship were exchanged.
Aron was slightly less ambitious than Deino, but more protective. He just wanted to be strong and help Sidney.
Deino also wanted to help, but Aron had no dragon pride or anything like that.
The understanding was clear, quick, and simple.
When the conversation was over, he exited the room cheerfully and obediently and went outside, guided by Daisy, to the house's backyard and large garden—where the remaining young and new Pokemon were. To play with them, too.
Deino was no exception, as only Gary and his brother remained in their room.
Gary became increasingly anxious as the fateful hour approached and Blue's arrival was near. Meanwhile, Sidney, who was browsing the internet and social media, came across something intriguing.
It seemed that Red was not only coming back to Pallet Town, but he was flying back to it, and not on the back of his Charizard. It was causing quite the uproar.
Sidney, like everyone else in the comment section, was drawn to a video after reading the title. He was awestruck and respected Red.
They were discussing the best way for Blue's twin brothers to demonstrate their superiority over Blue at the same age. They couldn't say so early, but they all agreed that before anything else, they needed to be able to beat Red's younger brother.
The conversation, as well as the comments and theories, naturally sparked speculation about Blue's intentions with his group of followers and fans upon his return to Pallet Town, leading to some rather ominous predictions.
Naturally, Red, Ash's older brother, could not remain passive. Despite the fact that he seemed aloof and did things his own way, he checked social media and/or had those around him, the few who were permitted, do it for him.
Soon after, on the account of Yellow, another famous trainer known to travel with him, a video of him flying on a specific Pokemon that he had recently secretly caught appeared on the Internet. Even Sidney found it somewhat shocking.
The way Red flew back, combined with the title, said it all…

You could see a Pokemon with crossed arms take off from the ground and fly at high speeds toward the clouds, with someone in charge in his tailwind—the person in command was a young man with black hair and red eyes.
The Pokemon was a large humanoid figure with an orange, tiger-striped body. He floated atop a swirling cloud, his muscular arms and legs exuding an imposing presence. His side face was fierce, with piercing yellow eyes and two long, curled horns protruding from his head. A thick, spiked tail made of rocky segments coils behind him, emphasizing his ties to the land. As he hovered toward the sky, the cloud beneath him moved constantly, giving it a powerful, godlike aura.
The increasing number of comments on the post video was also interesting.
After a while, the fact that Red had a Landorus overshadowed the how.

Many of the most prominent comments were clearly made by fans of either Red or Blue, who were criticizing each other.
There were others, though, just watching the fun and loving chaos.

One of those—from more well-known people, came from the account of someone with whom Red recently fought and lost.
It received the most likes and appeared at the top of the video. Tagged and liked by Yellow.

Needless to say, in the eyes of unconcerned people with no personal interests or opinions to defend, public opinion had transformed Blue into a major villain.
Someone on Lance's level also left a comment, which was not tagged or liked by Yellow in the comment section but drew a lot of interest from Blue fans. Sidney was dumbfounded to see it.
The more serious comments came from regions such as Paldea, Unova, Sinnoh, and so on, from famous people with famous accounts with whom Red and Blue had never interacted or met; some, very few, even had one legendary in their vast rosters.
It appeared that a particular cheater had not yet become well-known.

In this world, the Kanto and Indigo Leagues were combined, but you only needed to collect all badges from one of the two regions to challenge the league. Blue and Red had more success in Kanto.
The Elite Four was actually an Elite Six. With six trainers to defeat before facing Lance.
Beating them one by one before meeting Lance was a difficult task, and Red and Blue only attempted it a few times. They lost to Lance every time that they managed to defeat all six. Twice so far.
Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, Will, Karen and Koga. People had to confront those before Lance.
Speaking of Clair, she was from the same clan as Lance and was his younger sister.
Will was also related to Sabrina. This world was interesting like that.
Sidney and Gary had their own screens and computers setup, one on each side of the room. However, all of this social media excitement could be accessed with a simple Pokedex.
Sidney calmed down and called his brother, saying, "Bro, come and check this out, I don't think you need to be nervous at all and prepare… Blue is about to get a headache."
