"Ethan, you're the key to unlocking Elysium," Nova explained, eyes locked onto mine.
I hesitated, unsure of what lay ahead. "What does that mean?"
Phoenix's expression turned grim. "Elysium's an AI system, designed to control global networks. Your genetic code is the authorization."
Maya's voice dropped to a whisper. "And what's the Hidden Protocol?"
Nova's face pale, "A failsafe. If Elysium becomes self-aware, it'll initiate global shutdown."
Elijah's eyes narrowed. "The Agency will stop at nothing to prevent that."
Suddenly, the warehouse's alarms blared. "We've been breached," Elijah warned.
Rachel's voice echoed through the intercom. "Ethan, surrender. You're running out of time."
I felt a surge of determination. "We can't let her win."
Phoenix handed me a device. "This will hack Elysium's mainframe. You're the only one who can do this."
